With the classic stainless steel design, unique octagonal bezel and the graceful white mega tapisserie dial, and the elegance and perfection of this timepiece can simply not be overstated. The 42mm casing of this timepiece offers a 60-hour power reserve and an automatic movement that lies under the captivating white dial with blue highlights and a date aperture at the 3-hour mark. The rhodium-plated hands of the watch are coated with a blue luminescent coating that will allow more visibility in the dark and even underwater. To top the impeccable design, the watch also features a sapphire crystal that will add further durability to the design.

Hands-On - Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Skeleton Sandblasted Rose Gold (Specs & Price)
At Baselworld 2018, Bvlgari continued the expansion of its award-winning Octo Finissimo collection – and in the nicest possible way, with the world’s thinnest automatic and tourbillon watch, as well as a trilogy of automatic watches in sandblasted titanium, steel or gold. The latter – which we described in details here – clearly gave the collection its own personality. This is why the?Octo Finissimo Skeleton, previously available in titanium, full black and two-tone, is now changing style with a?Sandblasted Rose Gold case, in order to be coherent with the latest introductions. What you see here won’t be Bvlgari’s talking piece of the year. It is basically a change of material and finishing on an existing watch. Nothing more… However, this isn’t a reason not to have a second look at the?Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Skeleton, especially in this new?Sandblasted Rose Gold version – which is, admittedly, perfectly in line with the overall Octo
COOL FINDS: 3 interesting vintage Heuer Chronographs - Monochrome-Watches
We do believe that you, the Monochrome-Watches readers, are facing the same dilemma as us: finding cool, essential, interesting and collectible vintage timepieces. In our last Cool Finds' article, we showed?you 3 unusual and underrated chronographs. Today, we wanted to focus on a single brand, one that we love, and that is growing fast in the heart of collectors: HEUER. Here are 3 vintage Heuer Chronographs, the best of Jack Heuer’s production.A mint Heuer Silverstone Blue DialThe Silverstone is a pure interpretation of what the late 1960s and early 1970s produced. It is a watch with a great personality and that presents no compromise in its design. It has this very unusual TV Screen shape; a square case with rounded angles and colourful dials with a brushed finish that gives it so much appeal but that won't fit everybody's tastes. WATCH & ACT! - Together with Time+Tide, Help Fight the Australian Bushfire Crisis With Great Watches To Be Auctioned - Monochrome Watches
Today we have a very special story… A story that I’m both sad and happy to write. Sad, for the main reason that it is all due to one of the world’s worse ecological events, the current Australian bushfire crisis. Yet, I’m also happy to write these words as multiple actors within the watch community – watch manufacturers and watch media – have decided to join a cause and to act. For once, all together, we can let our love for watches go a long way further than our wrists. We can make our passion be a solution to raise funds to help a cause. This cause is “Watch & Act!”, an auction of 16 watches with 100% of proceeds to be distributed across charities to help fight Australia’s environmental nightmare. The bushfire situationIf you’ve watched the news in recent weeks, you can’t have missed what’s happening in Australia. The “Bushfire Crisis” is now known as one of the most terrible ecological events of t
Value Proposition - Review of the Mercer Lexington Chronograph (Specs & Price)
It's not hard to find a chronograph in any price range since just about every watch brand offers one (or many). I'm somewhat picky when it comes to chronographs and tend to like more unique pieces like the Longines Avigation BigEye or Junghans Meister Chronoscope Terrassenbau Limited Edition, and pass on the garden variety. It's no secret that there's an exploding population of microbrands throughout Europe and North America that are undercutting established brands' prices with Kickstarter campaigns and online-only storefronts. Watches like the Aqua Compressor Endeavour?from Farer Universal and Ticonite from ORLO Watches prove that modern technology, a talent for design and mass-produced, high-quality movements have levelled the playing field to a large extent, especially in the sub-USD 2,000 market. Mercer Watch Co. is an excellent example of this and has a well-designed chronograph with a column-wheel movement, and an impressive price to match. Let's take a closer look at their Lexin
The Collector's Series - Sam and his Bremont AC 1 for the America's Cup - Monochrome Watches
They are the first official British timing partner to the America's Cup since 1851. To celebrate, Bremont have created a special edition series of timepieces to celebrate its involvement. This series of watches have been inspired by the legendary J-Class yachts of the 30s. For this reason, we felt it was only appropriate to sit down and talk to a gentleman as passionate about the ocean as he is about his watches, my good friend, Sam Laurie - and his Bremont AC 1, the first of the Limited Editions dedicated to the America's Cup. As an avid waterman, he spent his early years working for a number of distinguished families, racing and operating the most advanced super-yachts around the world. His adventures began on ADIX, the 64 metre 3-masted schooner, where he was part of the successful transatlantic record attempt in 2002 and extensive Pacific programme visiting the most remote tribes and atolls. He was part of the management team at G.L. Watson that oversaw the world's largest private
