The automatic mechanic timepiece has two overlapping inserts. The index of this particular design has a micro-blasted grey upper insert, with cutaway around the numerals and indices ¨C revealing the luminous super-luminova covering the lower insert. The case is forty-two mm in diameter, with sapphire crystal glass and anti-reflective coating. The dial is matt grey whereas the strap is matt black giving the illusion of the substance being rubbed.

Buying Guide - The Most Sought-After Royal Oak Models in Collection - And the Sad Reality of the Market
After we look at the most desirable models in and Patek Philippe catalogues, and the reality of the market – understand, the premium you’ll have to pay to get your hands on these watches, without waiting for years – it is time to go full circle and to give an end to the speculation story… And that means looking at THE watch that actually started it all, the watch that, back in 1972, created the trend for luxury sports watches, so-to-say today’s hottest watch category; the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, of course. So here are the most sought-after Audemars Piguet watches in collection – all being Royal Oak models – and the reality of what you’ll need to pay if you want one, right now.?The 15202ST might not suffer the same insane premium as a 5711 but that doesn’t mean it will be easy to get one (and not cheap either)You must know the deal… Back in 1972, a man named Gerald Genta went to see a certain watch manufacture, part of the
Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m Beijing 2022 Edition
While the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Summer Games are barely behind us (thanks to a small delay in the calendar…), the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games are knocking at the door and will begin on February the 4th next year. As expected, and now with no fewer than 30 participations, Omega will once again be the official timekeeper of the event, which will return to the city of Beijing, after the 2008 Summer Games. In tribute to its role, Omega is releasing a new special edition model, the Seamaster Aqua Terra Beijing 2022, with an appropriate ice-inspired dial.?This new Aqua Terra 150m for Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 is based on the classic, all-rounder model from the brand’s collection, the well-executed and mechanically-packed Aqua Terra 150m. Here presented in stainless steel, the case chosen for this edition is the largest one, meaning 41mm in diameter, with an approximate height of 13.5mm. It retains all the attributes of the classic edition, meaning a sloped polished bez
Hands-On: The New Oris Divers Date, Replacing the Sixty-Five (Incl. Video)
It seems that 2024 is the year Oris is reviving multiple collections at once, with revamped editions of the Aquis, Aquis Chronograph and now the Divers Sixty-Five. Or rather Oris Divers Date I should say, as it not only gets a new look and upgraded specs, but a new name as well. Straight out of the gate though, the charming soul of the outgoing collection has very much been retained, meaning it’s still a rather compact watch, and still has that cool retro vibe we all know and love. It’s just… better! So with that in mind, here’s all there is to know about the new Oris Divers Date series. With six decades of dive watch history behind it, Oris is well known for its wide range of highly capable aquatic instruments. The formidable and decidedly modern Aquis collection took centre stage for years until Oris stepped into the retro-diver game with the Divers Sixty-Five in 2015. And to say it's been a hit would be an understatement. The Divers Sixty-Five pleased many peo
Ulysse Nardin Classico Manufacture with steel case and enamel dial (specs & price) - Monochrome Watches
Ulysse Nardin is certainly widely known for their signature collections; the Marine and the Diver. Both inspired by antique marine chronometers (something that was the core business of the brand at its inception), they share a unique and easily recognizable design, with some bold aspects – like we’ve seen recently in this article or previously in this in-depth review. The UN collection shouldn’t be resumed to that (of course they also have some incredible complications…), as the brand also has a nice and elegant classic dress watch – which is not so classic – the Ulysse Nardin Classico Manufacture?that comes now in steel, with a superb enamel dial. The?Ulysse Nardin Classico Manufacture was introduced, in?a revamped version, at Baselworld 2016. Using the traditional design of the brand, now combined with an in-house movement, it was only available in rose gold (with blue or cream dial), meaning that it?was priced to an approximate?15,000 CHF. It is ce
First Look: The New Vacheron Constantin Overseas Tourbillon Titanium
Incarnating Vacheron Constantin’s sophisticated vision of a luxury sports watch, the Overseas has its roots in the 222, a 1977 model designed to celebrate the brand's 222nd anniversary. Following a major overhaul in 2016, the brand released the third generation Overseas with a host of complications and a versatile interchangeable strap and bracelet system. The tourbillon complication was incorporated in 2019. Following editions in steel, white gold and rose gold, Vacheron announces a new version clad in titanium from head to toe. Identical to former editions, including the signature Overseas blue dial colour, the novelty for 2024 is the choice of a material.Titanium – which is 30% more resistant than steel and only half its weight - is not new to the Overseas family and has been used in limited editions in the past. Two special Overseas Everest editions for mountaineer Cory Richards were produced with titanium elements combined with other materials. In 2002, the brand offer
