Known for its strong character and long durability the Breitling Chronomat 44 has made a comeback after 1984's original. The designer has kept in mind every little detail of the original and elevated it. Any loyal fan of Breitling would definitely love the modernized additions as well as the blast from the past, i.e. keeping the original aesthetics fresh. The bezel is engraved with special roman numerals. Breitling has a power reserve of approximately seventy hours.

Auction - Top Lots of The Royal 50 Audemars Piguet Sale by Ineichen
As you are undoubtedly aware, this year marks the 50th anniversary of one of the most important watches ever created, the most emblematic watch of Audemars Piguet and the most famous creation of genius designer Gerald Genta: the Royal Oak. Although the brand has already released its commemorative collection, including a new flagship watch (the 16202 Jumbo), auction houses are also keen to ride the celebratory wave. After Phillips / Bacs & Russo, it’s time for Zurich-based Ineichen Auctioneers to host a dedicated sale, gathering 50 of the finest Royal Oak models. Dubbed the “Royal 50 Audemars Piguet” auction, it will take place in Zurich and online on 28 May 2022. Furthermore, this is the first time a leading watch auction house will drop the buyer's premium and register its shares on the blockchain. And here are some of the most standout Royal Oak watches to be auctioned.A?Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Premier Limited Edition Ref. 26530STThere have been
Introducing The New Piaget Polo Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin
Piaget‘s watches across all the collections often embody bold and creative designs, admired by the public. Still, the brand’s watchmaking history is rooted in creating original and high-precision movements. Since 1874, the manufacture has been producing movements for its watches, and it has been a supplier of the most complex “engines” for many eminent watch brands in Switzerland. For connoisseurs and amateurs alike, Piaget is often synonymous with ultra-thin mechanical movements. The Piaget Polo collection started its life as a sporty alternative but recently moved into ultra-thin watchmaking with the Polo Skeleton. It is now joined by a new high-end model, the Piaget Polo Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin.?In 1979 Piaget introduced the Polo, a sporty-chic watch equipped with a 7P quartz calibre. The Polo was a must-have piece in the 1980s and has become the symbol of refined style, a subtle sense of beauty, and a luxurious lifestyle. The Polo collection evolved ov
Norqain Freedom 60 GMT 40mm Bronze Midnight Blue
In just over a couple of years, Norqain has demonstrated a rather impressive coherence in its collections and also quite a rapid expansion. Right from the beginning, the brand even announced partnering with Kenissi, a renowned Swiss movement manufacturer (also working for Tudor, Chanel or Breitling), propelling them straight in a more high-end league. From all the models we’ve seen recently, the Freedom 60 GMT, a vintage-inspired watch with practical complication, has certainly been amongst our favourites and it returns this year with a cool combination of colours and a compact case. Here’s the new Norqain Freedom 60 GMT 40mm Bronze with Midnight Blue dial.?The Freedom 60 GMT, a watch presented in late 2020, was the first important evolution of the collection – the most classic collection of the brand, with the least rugged appeal. As explained by the brand's CEO, Ben Kuffer: When we began designing these new Freedom watches, we listened closely to what customers and
Bovet 19Thirty Dimier with blue dial - live pics, specs & price - Monochrome Watches
You know us here at Monochrome-Watches. Apart from the big names, there is something?that we especially love here: independent watchmaking. We do have a special appeal for watches manufactures by independent, smaller and creative watchmakers, not because they are always better executed?than those from the bigger brands, but mainly because they have something extra: a soul, a link to the people behind their construction, a certain originality that large brands can’t achieve (mainly for commercial reasons…). In order to experience (again) this feeling, we did get our hands-on a rather unique watch, the?Bovet 19Thirty Dimier with blue dial.Brief overview of Bovet 1822For those who aren’t aware of this brand, there are certain important facts to know. Bovet isn’t just another new brand, which design watches and assembled them with outsourced movements. Here, we’re talking about a proper integrated manufacture, with a strong history. Bovet was founded by Edouar
First Look: The new Schwarz Etienne 1902 Petite Seconde
Sometimes, moving forward means going back to recover the good things from the past. That appears to be the case at Schwarz Etienne, a small, independent brand from La Chaux-de-Fonds that wants to raise its profile and become better known on the watch scene. Founded in 1902, the brand is now in the hands of CEO Florian Brossard. Keen to exploit Schwarz Etienne's high level of vertical integration, the brand's full potential is about to be unleashed. Presented during Geneva Watch Week 2025, the 1902 Petite Seconde collection marks a new chapter in the brand's design language. A blend of old and new, the three-hand dress watch in three dial colours reveals a refined sector dial design, and the movement heralds the return of the brand's signature finger bridges.Brossard has an interesting background. Trained in micromechanics and movement design, he was involved in rebuilding the legendary Minerva manufacture, followed by long stints at Montblanc and Greubel Forsey. As he points out in th
