Recap: The Best Dress Watches of 2023
As the end of the year draws nearer every day now, we’re in the midst of the festive season. Christmas parties, New Year’s Eve celebrations and whatnot dominate our agendas. The perfect time really, to whip out a high-class dress watch and pair it with your cocktail dress or smoking, or with a onesie and cosy slippers if that’s more your thing. The Omega DeVille Hour Vision Blue is dedicated to the world's only Flying Eye Hospital, named Orbis.Omega chose two to launch two blue dial version of the Constellation and the DeVille Hour Vision on which we’ll focus here today. When the DeVille Hour Vision was introduced in 2007, it was THE watch?that introduced Omega’s Co-Axial calibre 8500/8501. It was the first calibre with the new co-axial escapement and these?movements were entirely created in-house. Since its introduction, the Oris Aquis has always been the high-performance dive watch of the brand. Sturdy, robust, strong and powerful, this watch is?all about performance and reliability. So to say, a real tool watch, which earned the status of icon in the Oris collection. Even if it remained modern, Oris has decided to bring a new take on the?Aquis Date Collection, with subtle evolutions of most components, in order to bring modernity and extra-refinement to a still very toolish and professional-oriented watch. Here is the updated Oris Aquis Date Collection for 2017, more refined, still powerful. The story of the sturdy and performance-oriented dive watch from Oris goes back to the late 1990s, with the Oris Full Steel. This watch is a solid, robust, masculine watch made to be used underwater, with no compromise. The previo
