Introducing: The Tudor Black Bay Chrono Blue Boutique Edition
First presented in 2017, the Tudor Black Bay Chrono surprised a bit the brand’s fans with its mix of classic dive watch elements (solid water-resistance and snowflake hands) and racing cues, with the chronograph function and external tachymeter bezel. Multiple editions of this watch will follow, all powered by a Breitling-derived automatic movement, including the Black Bay Chrono Dark, the Panda versions and the highly-collectable Pink edition – all gradually adding appeal to this competent chrono. With the return to more compact case sizes that swing it both ways, the Piaget Polo Date 36mm sheds its diamond-set indices and returns with a deep midnight blue dial and the relaxed sporty-chic charm that has always characterised this model.Equestrian glamourYves G. Piaget, the fourth generation of the Piaget dynasty, was the brainchild of the Polo. Harnessing the brand’s expertise in watchmaking and jewellery, the Polo was a sleek bracelet watch with a contemporary sporty-chic vibe. Ochs und Junior Due Ore reviewed - Monochrome Watches
Ochs und Junior is the brain-child of Ludwig Oechslin and Beat Weinman and recently Ulysse Nardin came on board as the third partner. A logical third partner, if you know more about Oechslin’s achievements in the horological world. Since 2009 his ideas take shape in Ochs und Junior timepieces.?Ochs und Junior watches are recognizable by their clean and almost industrial design, lacking any kind of typical watchmaking finishing. And lacking any name or logo! The minimalistic design and raw, unfinished, machined parts determine the looks of all Ochs und Junior timepieces. Luckily I was allowed to borrow a Due Ore for a review.?It's a tough job, but somebody's gotto do it Ad - Scroll to continue with article HistoryI wanted to say that the story began with Ochs und Junior’s first timepiece, the Anno Cinquanta, however that wouldn’t be correct.
