Chopard goes extra creative with this watch from the Happy Diamond Collection. Featuring the double whirl layout that characterizes the collection, this watch has a very slender design. Diamonds sit not only among the whirls but also on them. Constructed with 18k rose gold, this timepiece is perfect for any occasion. The black glossy Alligator straps add a uniqueness to the whole appearance that is both bold and stylish.

Weekly Watch Photo - Audemars Piguet Millenary Star Wheel - Monochrome Watches
Again a photo made by GEO, although this time no Cartier. Audemars Piguet made this rare Millenary Star Wheel for the 125th anniversary of the brand and in my opinion one of the most beautiful of this manufacture. It’s almost refreshing to see another timepieces from Audemars Piguet, than the Royal Oak or Royal Oak Offshore collections. Like the Millenary collection, Audemars Piguet does have several more collections that are very appealing and much more elegant than the RO and ROO. Besides the Millenary I also enjoy beautiful esthetics of the Jules Audemars collection and?the Edward Piguet collection (especially the EP chronograph). Earlier I wrote about the Millenary Piano Forte, a
2020 Bvlgari Rainbow and Colour Wave Serpenti Watches
Hands down, the luxurious Serpenti watch has to be Bvlgari's most iconic timepiece to date. Inspired by Greek and Roman mythology and interpreting the stealth-like snake, the Serpenti watch collection has served as a cornerstone in the Roman brand's heritage. It underscored the brand's transition from lavish and highly detailed jewellery pieces to the addition of wristwatches for style-conscious women during the mid-1900s. Now, Bvlgari evolves the collection further with some vibrant and vivid iterations – the Bvlgari Serpenti Viper and the Bvlgari Serpenti Incantati. Having become internationally renowned for mastering the art of gemstone cutting and setting, these new interpretations are far from Bvlgari's first gem-set watches. The Serpenti watch collection already boasts a rich tapestry of indulgent and sumptuous timepieces adorned with coloured gemstones. The new Rainbow and Colour Wave timepieces are a nod to Bvlgari's “Mai Troppo” approach to watchmaking –
Hands-On: The New Longines Conquest 2023 Chronograph
The name Conquest is an important one at Longines, as it refers to a long-lasting collection that was first introduced in 1954. A surprising fact about this name: it was the first step in an emerging marketing strategy for the brand, which was to give a name to a family of watches, creating a collection. Something that seems common these days but proved powerful back then. Since then, the name Conquest has been synonymous with classic, all-rounder watches. The previous Conquest (not to be confused with the dive-oriented HydroConquest) had been around for many years and had started to look slightly outdated. But this year, Longines has decided to revamp entirely its go-anywhere, do-anything collection with the new Longines Conquest 2023. And after our introduction of the entire collection, it’s now time to have a closer look at the chronograph edition. The Longines Conquest started its life in 1954 – to be precise, on April 3rd, 1954, Longines filed a patent for its Conquest
Pre-Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classic and Reverso Classic Large Duo - Monochrome Watches
Earlier this week, we showed some first anniversary editions of the?Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso – because yes, the old lady celebrates its 85th birthday this year… making it one of the oldest watches with a continuous production, and thus, one of the most iconic timepiece?(and luxury object) available. If these new introductions were focused on heritage, Jaeger-LeCoultre also renewed the more modern, classic editions – the ones with automatic movements. Here are the?Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classic and Reverso Classic Large Duo to be introduced at the SIHH 2016.The?Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classic AutomaticThe?Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classic is certainly the most classical, timeless edition of the collection. For the 85th anniversary of this model, the Jaeger-LeCoultre manufacture offers a facelift and some technical improvements. Previously, this Reverso Classic was available?with a plain dial and a manual movement. The SIHH 2016 editions of the?Jaeger-LeCoultre Revers
Petrolhead Corner: Porsche Celebrates 75 Years Of Sports Cars With The Mission X Concept
Birthdays are to be celebrated, whether it’s a personal one or one related to a company or product. Just as in watchmaking, where this year we celebrate anniversaries of the Daytona, TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph, Blancpain Fifty Fathoms and many others, there’s plenty of partying going on in the car industry. Iconic cars like the Chevrolet Corvette, or the Aston Martin DB5 can blow out quite a few candles. One birthday bash perhaps stands out a little more; Porsche’s 75th anniversary as a sports car manufacturer! And as a birthday present to itself, Porsche has built the Mission X Concept, an all-electric hypercar study that takes us on a tour of what the future might hold for the prolific German sports car builder.75 Years of pushing boundariesThis year we celebrate 75 years of Porsche sports cars, but by limiting ourselves to that timeframe we leave out a large part of the company’s history. Dr Ferdinand Porsche actually founded the Dr Ing h.c. F. Porsche G
