This Happy Sport 36 mm automatic watch sparkles with femininity. Stunningly made from 18k rose gold and stainless steel with a polished bezel and leather strap, its stylish aesthetic is perfectly Chopard. The mother-of-pearl dial provides a precious backdrop for the rose gold-tone Roman numerals and hands. The Chopard's signature 7 diamonds are also decorated on this timepiece. The bezel is fixed, and the glass is coated with sapphire to remain scratch-less. It has a self-winding movement, and the reserve is very promising. The bracelet of this watch is made of stainless steel.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin 26586IP.OO.1240IP.01 - Review, Specs & Price
The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin, which started its life as a prototype watch named RD#2, is one of these watches that look so right. It is at once a superb design object and a highly engineered piece of horological ingenuity. Of course, it is the thinnest perpetual calendar wristwatch. But interestingly, its development was not initiated to break any record. The idea was simply to design a perpetual calendar Royal Oak that could easily slip under any cuffIt is not a surprise to see Audemars Piguet presenting the thinnest perpetual calendar wristwatch. Ultra-thin watches and perpetual calendars are both parts of Audemars Piguet's tradition. The brand claims to have presented the first perpetual wristwatch as early as 1955. The Royal Oak itself has been available with a perpetual calendar complication for some years, including the current versions. But Genta's iconic design isn't the most appropriate candidate for breaking a thinness record –
Interview - Talking To Remi Maillat, The Man Behind Krayon Watches
Independent watchmaker Krayon was created a few years ago by Remi Maillat. Besides his developments behind the scene for other brands, Krayon made a remarkable debut with the mindbogglingly complex Everywhere, the first mechanical watch able to compute the sunrise and sunset times everywhere on the globe. This impressive world-first earned Krayon a well-deserved accolade at the GPHG 2018 with the Innovation Prize. Maillat sits at an interesting intersection at watchmaking. His watches are classic and, at the same time, profoundly modern and innovative. On the occasion of a visit to Krayon's new facilities in Neuchatel, we sat for a talk with the independent watchmaker to better understand his work.Xavier Markl, MONOCHROME – How did you become hooked on watchmaking? Buying Guide - Five of the best Vintage-inspired accessible watches
People have the tendency to look back on their past and revive good memories from time to time. Whether it is through pictures, music that brings back memories, or artefacts from that perfect summer vacation, everybody has these rituals. And, in comparison, the watch industry is not that different. With the vintage market booming, and previously overlooked pieces on the rise, multiple brands take a look at their Greatest Hits and decide to revive them. And when done right, the result can be very rewarding. With that in mind, here are 5 of the best reissued watches launched this year, plus they won't break the bank.Nivada Grenchen Antarctic SpiderNivada Grenchen is a historic brand, launched by Otto Wulliman, Hermann Schindler and Jack Schneider in 1926 and fell victim to the quartz crisis in the mid-seventies. The company focused on instrument watches that went beyond simple indications of time. The name was revived in 2018 by Guillaume Laidet and Remi Chabrat, with the goal of recreat
Hands-On - Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Moonshine Gold Green Dial
“The Speedmaster Moonwatch should be in stainless steel. Period. This is how NASA wanted it, this is how Omega created it, and this is how it went to the Moon.” This is the type of argument you can imagine hearing from the mouth of strongly opinionated Speedy fans. Fair enough, the Moonwatch is still very much available in this more common material, and it should make them happy enough. What if, on the other hand, you’d like to have the legendary look of the Speedmaster Moonwatch (understand the classic proportions, design and movement) with a touch of luxury, a touch of colour and a (fairly controlled) touch of bling? Well, since 1969, there are some gold editions of the emblematic space chronograph, and the brand continues this legacy with a truly handsome, highly desirable, not-that-bling Speedmaster Moonwatch Moonshine Gold and its cool green dial.?The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional Master Chronometer Co-Axial, in steel, released in early 2021.We’v
News: LVMH and TAG Heuer Become Official Partner of Formula 1 for 10 Years
While rumours had circulated for some time, the confirmation has now been made. As Formula 1 gears up to celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2025, there's major news shaking up its sponsorship landscape. LVMH, the world's largest luxury conglomerate, has officially signed on as a Global Partner of Formula 1 in a groundbreaking 10-year deal, with what is certainly one of the most important sports sponsorship deals ever. If no figures have been disclosed, it’s reasonable to imagine a 10-figure investment over the course of this partnership. While it will bring several iconic LVMH Maisons, including Louis Vuitton and Mo?t Hennessy, into the Formula 1 spotlight, our primary focus here at MONOCHROME is, naturally, on the watchmaking aspect, especially when it comes to TAG Heuer. The agreement, set to begin in 2025, marks a significant milestone for LVMH Group, and of course TAG Heuer, a brand synonymous with motorsport heritage. The involvement of the group is obviously pivotal here and
