The Happy Fish watch is another magnificent watch from the Happy Diamond watch by Chopard. This one almost encloses the ocean on your wrist. Featuring a fresh, pristine turquoise color complimented with subtle gold hues, the piece features a mother of pearl dial. The turquoise dial harbors a beautiful 18k rose goldfish with a diamond eye. Around the fish swim 5 glistening moving diamonds. In the dark, a fish-shaped area glows on the dial. The self-winding mechanical watch is a great option for day to day wear for a springy fresh and modern feel.

Due to having a large inventory, the watch you receive may not be the exact same one shown in the photos. We always guarantee that our watch are in a new/unworn condition. Stickers may be removed during the inspection process.

Wilhelm Schmid, 10 Year at the Helm at A. Lange & Sohne - Monochrome Watches
Wilhelm Schmid has been ten years with the brand that ‘never stands still’. After a career at BMW, among others in South Africa, he arrived in Glashutte to be the new CEO at A. Lange & Sohne, the pinnacle of German watchmaking. With a background in sales and a strong passion for mechanics, it seemed like a match made in heaven. Wilhelm Schmid's past ten years at Lange were during a pretty turbulent period. It already started in the aftermath of the massive global recession that started in 2008, now the corona pandemic that has a huge influence on the watch industry, the opening of the new manufacture, and of course the sad passing of Walter Lange.?Frank Geelen, MONOCHROME Watches – How was it, ten years ago, to arrive in Glashutte at a watch company, after a long career at BMW in sunny South Africa? Five Stainless Steel Watches on Matching Bracelets Below 3k - Monochrome Watches
Whenever we compile lists for our weekly Buying Guide, we tend to look at common denominators between watches. One such element can be colour, material, a complication or even a price point. As suggested by one of our readers, we are now looking at sporty-chic watches on stainless steel bracelets priced under EUR 3,000. After doing some digging, we’ve come up with genuinely surprising watches! Let’s dive straight in.Nomos Club Sport Neomatik 39The Nomos Club has long been a success for the Glashutte-based brand for its humble simplicity. But that doesn’t mean it’s a boring one-trick pony, as Nomos has proven the basic design to be quite versatile. The Club Sport Neomatik, for instance, takes the concept in a new direction by adding new sizes, fresh colours and a steel bracelet. Last year, we saw the introduction of a trio of new colours in a new 39mm size. It’s fitted with the in-house produced automatic DUW 3001 Neomatik movement and retails for EUR 2,820
Swatch Sistem51 - Monochrome-Watches
The Swatch Sistem51 is certainly the cheapest watch we’ve ever featured on Monochrome-Watches and we are doing it without any shame or regrets. Why? The Sistem51 is clearly one of the most important novelties presented during the last 10 years. As the first Swatch did in 1983, this new automatic watch is a major industrial milestone that COULD (I have to insist on the ‘could’ because, for the moment, we are not sure of possible future developments) change the face of the Swatch Group and of the whole industry.History of SwatchSwatch (which stands for ‘second watch’, because of its affordable price and casual look) was born in the early 1980s, just in the middle of the ‘Quartz Crisis’. At that time, the actors of the watchmaking industry in Switzerland were all intensely affected by the arrival of cheap Japanese quartz watches and production numbers became lower than at any time before. However, a very simple but clever idea saved the industry.
