The model number 278590-3001 from Chopard is from the Happy Sport collection with 30 mm quartz watch in stainless steel and an ideal design. The bold definition of the polished bezel and the elegant lugs that continue its sweeping curves are countered by the playful, ephemeral nature of three diamonds and two interchangeable straps. Here, a white rubber strap adds a contemporary touch perfectly in tune with Chopard's vision of today's woman and her irrepressible joie de vivre. The white dial adds to this ideal concept gracefully. The watch has a stainless steel pin buckle to be tied up.

Steve McQueen's vintage Heuer Monaco just sold for $799,500 - Monochrome Watches
Yes indeed, like the title says: Steve’s McQueen’s vintage Heuer Monaco was recently auctioned for $ 799.500 USD! An amount that might sound insane for some, others will think a price like this is more then justified. It just depends on how you look at it.Three years ago another vintage Heuer Monaco and a 5512, both owned McQueen, were sold for €?63.000 Euro (Heuer Monaco) and the 5512 sold for no less then € 167.000 Euro! Priced that cannot be justified by how rare these timepieces are, but mainly by the person who wore them. But with (possibly) 6 identified Heuer Monaco’s all owned by McQueen, is this price still sane? MB&F LM Thunderdome Triple Axis Regulator / Review, Price
Max Busser and Friends, or simply MB&F, was created as an avant-garde horological lab with a vision: gathering talents to create radical mechanical art pieces. For its latest creation, Busser got two of his long-time friends to collaborate for the first time; the discreet Finnish master Kari Voutilainen and the inventive Eric Coudray. The result of this collaboration is spectacular, to say the least. Meet the MB&F Legacy Machine Thunderdome – and for the record, it features a fast triple-axis regulator a very fast one! Max Busser and Eric Coudray met some 20 years ago when they were both working at Jaeger-LeCoultre. In 2004, Coudray made a name for himself when the “Grande Maison” presented the cult Gyrotourbillon. Coudray and multi-axis tourbillons share a long history and the MB&F Legacy Machine Thunderdome does not fail to surprise and amaze. This triple-axis regulator watch is packed with intriguing features. And Kari Voutilainen
TAG Heuer Monaco 55 - Monochrome Watches
TAG Heuer and the Porsche Club of America launch the Monaco 55, a very limited collector's edition.Last month i wrote about my first ‘love’ in watches, my Heuer Autavia. However?the first mechanical watch i ever seriously took a looked at, was a TAG Heuer Monaco, which is still one of my favorites. When i heard TAG Heuer released a (very) limited edition Monaco to celebrate the 55th anniversary of Porsche Club of America (PCA) i was surprised, because TAG Heuer does not makes a habit of such limited editions. The Monaco 55 shows some design elements we know from Monaco?Vintage Limited Edition, TAG Heuer released in tribute to the Porsche-Gulf 917k race car in the movie Le Mans. Ad - Scroll to continue with article It’s of course no secret anymore (ahum) that Steve McQueen wore a Heuer Monaco in the movie Le Mans. Steve McQueen’s friend Jo
First Look: The Foliot Scubanaut 200, Launching On Kickstarter
Discovering new brands is always a lot of fun, especially when the result is quite surprising and even impressive. Such is the case with one of our latest discoveries, coming straight from the Big Apple. Launching on Kickstarter today, upstart watchmaking company Foliot Watches is determined to make some waves with its second and latest collection, the Scubanaut. Available as both a dive-only Scubanaut 200 and Scubanaut World Diver, we’ll be primarily focusing on the simpler of the two. And as it turns out, Foliot has a few fun and clever surprises up its (neoprene) sleeve!Foliot Watches, as the brand is officially called, was founded in 2022 by Izzy Alsafa, a New York-based software engineer by trade and a passionate watch collector. Like many people, the watch infection came through his father, who acquired a to mark the opening of his first business back in the 1970s. That watch stuck with Izzy ever since and fueled his passion to the point of creating his own brand. Things
