The Happy Sport Automatic Blue dial watch 278559-3011 collection design is a very sleek creation by Chopard. The stainless steel Happy Stars watch pays tribute to the beating heart of Venice, evoking St. Mark's Square Clock Tower. The timepiece reveals as a starry sky reflecting on the waters, astral dancing elements with three diamond-set 18K white gold stars and a moon, along with a laughing 18K rose gold sun, dancing on the deep blue guilloch¨¦ dial under the sapphire glass. The watch has a self-winding movement and a powerful reserve as well.

In-depth - The GMT Collection by Bell & Ross
Since its very creation, Bell & Ross has focused on military forces and, as its preferred theme, pilots. From the earliest days, when the watches were manufactured by Sinn to the present collections, pilots have been the central focus of the brand’s core collection. But “pilot” is a wide definition. The needs of a jet fighter officer aren’t the same as an airline captain or the needs of a frequent traveller. In this context, there’s one definitive function, the GMT complication, the one that helps you track time-zones. And Bell & Ross is no stranger to the GMT watch. Today, we’ll try to understand how it works by looking at three watches from the Paris-based brand. The days of military watches at Bell & Ross are far from over; however, the brand had to adapt to the real world and, without losing its origins of military-inspired and pilot’s watches, it started to offer watches for the urban gentleman. The pinnacle of this vision was l
Hands-On - 2021 Longines HydroConquest 41mm Two-Tone Collection
Longines has secured a solid reputation in the field of chronographs and elegant, vintage-inspired watches these days. Yet, we should not forget that the brand also has a sizeable collection of sports watches, including one competent, quite accessible diver’s watch named HydroConquest. First launched in 2007, the model has since made its way up in the category and was fully revised in 2018, with upgraded materials, a simplified design and strong mechanical credentials. This year, the collection expands again with the addition of 11 new editions. Stylish, less instrumental, a bit more lifestyle-oriented yet still robust dive watches to be used and abused, here is the Longines HydroConquest 41mm Two-Tone Collection.Longines is no stranger to the dive watch concept. Certainly, its pilot’s chronographs and elegant 1940s models might be the first to come to mind, but that would be without mentioning two extremely desirable models, the Skin Diver and the Legend Diver. But these a
Tudor Heritage Black Bay Campaign and Exclusive Making Of Video - Monochrome Watches
The last few years, Tudor has been heavily inspired by their own heritage and, logically, created an entire Heritage collection. Two years ago Tudor launched the Heritage Chrono that features the exact same looks as its vintage ancestor. Last year they surprised everyone with the Pelagos and the Heritage Black Bay. So two major dive watch releases in one year. The Pelagos, albeit not part of the Heritage collection, is the robust yet comfortable alternative to the Sea-Dweller. With a serious depth rating, hefty in size, but extremely wearable because it’s made of titanium – might be a nice tip for . The other dive watch is the Heritage Black Bay that is also a serious dive watch, and adds a dose of vintage looks that grab back on the Tudor Submariners from the 1950’s and 1960’s. Oris Divers Sixty-Five Glow (Specs & Price)
Oris is, without doubt, a highly productive brand with many models in collection focussed on aquatic activities. From the classic Aquis watches in multiple sizes and colours, and even with an in-house movement, to the ultra-robust Prodive, there’s basically a watch for everyone. And if you’re looking for a cool, vintage-oriented sports watch with casual flair, there’s of course the Divers Sixty-Five, a watch that has become a cornerstone model in the collection since its introduction in 2015. Today, the brand adds a new and quite enigmatic colour, with the Oris Divers Sixty-Five Glow.?The Divers Sixty-Five is a watch that pays tribute to a 1965 model with a highly original design, specifically its dial with trapezoidal indexes. While this bold and not so consensual design has been replaced by a more classic set of applied indexes, what remains is the overall fun and cool design, that of a sporty, casual watch with diving credentials – but not the kind of instrum
Baselworld 2017 - TAG Heuer Autavia 2017 (Specs & Price)
This is it, the big one for TAG Heuer this year, the commercial?version of that highly awaited?Autavia 2017 Reedition. Most probably, you already heard about this watch, and we, at Monochrome-Watches, covered it when we saw the prototype and its movement. But now, that’s the one you’ll find tomorrow (literally) in stores. Here is the the Final Version of the TAG Heuer Autavia 2017.Back on the Autavia itself… In 1933, Heuer designed the first dash counter for racing cars and aircraft: the Autavia chronograph. The name was a contraction of AUTomobile and AVIAtion. Yet, this is in 1962 that the story really begins, with the Autavia wristwatch. Jack Heuer, the fourth generation head of the company, created his first wrist sports chronograph. Its innovative signature: a rotating bezel. For many, the Autavia is far more symbolic of the automotive side than aviation. Its ambassadors were the greatest Formula 1 drivers of the 1960s and 1970s: Jo Siffert, Mario Andretti, Joche
