The Chopard 278573-6018 is from the Happy Sport Automatic Mother of Pearl dial watch 278573-6018 collection. The Happy Sport collection is the emblem of Chopard's creativity and boldness. Its playful, free-spinning gems dancing between two sapphire crystals have captured the imagination since 1993 when Chopard became the first Maison to combine steel and diamonds. Little diamonds give a very sleek and delicate appearance. The watch has water resistance up to 30 m and a movement that is self-winding and mechanical.

A. Lange & Sohne Odysseus Steel - Review, Specs, Price
On 24 October 2019, A. Lange & Sohne introduced something entirely new, an important step for this usually rather conservative high-end watch brand; it was a sports watch, made in stainless steel, with a bracelet – three unprecedented features for ALS that made this very watch, the Odysseus, a hot topic of conversation. During the recent digital Watches & Wonders, the German brand introduced another Odysseus, now in white gold and not on a metal bracelet, but on a leather or rubber strap.?It’s been almost a year since I first saw the steel Odysseus, and recently Lange gave me the opportunity to wear it for a period of time. So, it is now time to give it a second thought / look and to report on my experience of having lived with the watch, not just strapped it on my wrist for a photoshoot.?Introductory noteWhat exactly is the Odysseus? Well, we can’t avoid the ‘luxury sports watch’ topic… With A. Lange & Sohne’s main competitors R
Baselworld 2018 - Omega Seamaster 1948 Limited Editions 70th Anniversary Models (Specs & price)
In 1948, Omega created its first family of watches, the Seamaster – a collection that has gone on to become one of the cornerstones of Omega Watches, a collection comprising most of the diving instruments the brand has created so far. If our calculations are right (and they are) the Seamaster collection is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year and, paying tribute to this important milestone, Omega has decided to treat us to two new watches, deeply inspired by the two first Seamaster watches. Meet the Baselworld 2018 Omega Seamaster 1948 Limited Editions. The story behind the Seamaster collection is strongly linked to military watches.?Between 1940 and 1945, OMEGA delivered more than 110,000 timepieces to the British Ministry of Defence (MoD) for use within the Royal Air Force and its other branches. These watches were valued for their precision,?water-resistance and reliability in combat. The end of the war left Omega with great knowledge and experience in manufacturing preci
Patek Philippe Twenty~4 Automatic - A Woman's Review of Patek's Latest Creation (Specs & Price)
At the London event Patek Philippe hosted at the end of October, I was able to see the latest interpretation of the Twenty~4 in person and get a feel for what this new watch is all about. Much has changed from the original rectangular Twenty~4 collection, in fact, the only element that has survived the transition is the elegant articulated bracelet. With its round case and overdue upgrade to a mechanical automatic movement, the Twenty~4 collection fills the gap in the brand's repertoire for what Patek Philippe considers an everyday watch to accompany style-conscious women and self-confident women day in and day out.Women count at Patek PhilippeThankfully, women's watches have always enjoyed a prominent place in Patek Philippe's offerings, starting with the fact that the current head of watch creation is Sandrine Stern (who is also the wife of Patek’s President). Unlike other upmarket watch brands, Patek has set a precedent in the field for creating women's watch complications
First Look: The New, Elegant Baltic Prismic Collection
A still relatively young brand that has always infused vintage flair in its watches, Baltic and its founder, Etienne Malec, have a keen eye for design and retro charm. Whether it’s a classic dive watch, a pair of sector dial watches with stepped bezels, a chronograph for classic car racing or a Calatrava-styled watch that caused a stir, there’s undeniable desirability in what are still fairly accessible watches. Following the recent Hermetique Tourer and its tool-watch vibe, the brand goes back to elegance with a watch that marks a step up in refinement and execution. Meet the slightly groovy, retro-chic Baltic Prismic collection.?Whether sporty or dressy, there’s always a clear retro inspiration in Baltic’s watches. We’ve seen classic 1960s dive watches, appealing 1930s Calatrava styles, 1940s-inspired sector dials or chronographs modelled after the golden era of motorsport. With the Prismic Collection, Baltic returns to more elegant watches, which are
Hands-on: The Mint Green Tissot PRX Powermatic 80
In 2021, Tissot introduced the PRX collection, a lineup that perfectly captured the essence of its 1970s inspiration with a barrel-shaped case, integrated bracelet, and quartz movement. A few months later, the design was reissued, featuring the Powermatic 80 movement. It quickly became clear that the series was perfectly in tune with the growing trend of integrated sports watches, and the Tissot PRX emerged as one of the Swatch Group brand’s biggest successes in recent years. Three years later, the collection continues to expand and now includes 35 and 40-mm models powered by quartz and Powermatic 80 automatic movements and 42-mm automatic chronographs, with a variety of dial colours that make the PRX such a compelling offer. This year, the mint green hue that previously adorned the quartz-powered PRX references made it to the PRX Powermatic 80 line in both 35mm and 40mm. We gladly share our impressions of the 40mm reference, which captures the summer vibes ideally - like the 202
