Introducing A. Lange & Sohne Saxonia Outsize Date Silver Dials (Price)
The Saxonia and the Lange 1 were two of the four pillars that trumpeted Walter Lange's resurrection of the brand in 1994. The Saxonia was Lange's answer to the classic elegant dress watch; the Lange 1, with its large ex-centred date window, would become Lange's ambassador at large. The Saxonia Outsize Date appeared in 2018, with lustrous black dials (in pink or white gold cases) and the elegant symmetry that characterises many of the Saxonia family dress watches. The novelty for December 2020 is the introduction of a silver dial. Silver dialLike the existing models, the latest Saxonia Outsize Date models are also presented in 38.5mm 18k white or rose gold cases, with a height of 9.6mm, a polished bezel and brushed casebands. The novelty here is the argente or silvery dials, a colour that illuminates the face of the watch. Compared to the black dial, the personality of the watch is far less austere and lighter, but still highly classic. Ad - Scroll to c
Womens Watch Wednesday - A. Lange & Sohne Little Lange 1 Moon Phase Hands-On (Specs & Price)
It wouldn’t be fair of me to write this review without stating upfront that this brand is one of my all-time favourites for a host of reasons that run the gamut from history to craftsmanship and more. Still, I refused to let that cloud my judgment as I was wearing the Little Lange 1 Moon Phase watch, an elegant and slightly different conception of Haute-Horlogerie for Ladies. Background Ad - Scroll to continue with article A. Lange & Sohne is undeniably one of the premier German watch brands on the market today. With roots dating back to 1846, the brand's incredible watchmaking ended abruptly during World War II with the expropriation of the company by the government. It was not until after the collapse of the Berlin Wall in November 1989, that Walter A. Lange, the great-grandson of Ferdinand Adolf Lange, seized the opportunity to revive the German watc

Introducing: Piaget Polo Emperador Skeleton Tourbillon High Jewellery
Piaget is synonymous with ultra-thin movements and high jewellery watches, areas of expertise the brand started to cultivate in the late 1950s. Not many watch brands excel in both disciplines, and alongside its state-of-the-art watch manufacture outside Geneva and its historic site in La C?te-aux-Fees, Piaget owns the largest jewellery workshop in Geneva. The latest Piaget Polo Emperador is a stunning fusion of Haute Horlogerie and Haute Joaillerie, marrying an ultra-thin gem-set automatic skeletonised flying tourbillon movement to a white gold case dripping with bright green emeralds and fiery white diamonds.Piaget's dominion of ultra-thin movements was consolidated in its La C?te-aux-Fees manufacture with the introduction of the famous manual-winding calibre 9P in 1957, followed by the world's (at that time) thinnest automatic movement, the calibre 12P of 1960. The latest gem-set Polo Emperador perpetuates the brand's tradition of ultra-thin movements and is the extravagant sibling o
