Chopard's Mille Miglia in rhodium is a really impressive piece due to its ultimate precision. The 116203-0137 models have a case of steel with a polished finish. Also, these items have a splendid blue dial. Plus, the caliber is highly efficient with a self-winding mechanical movement. Moreover, it has a strap inspired by tones of competition cars, and the power reserve can last up to 60 hours. Clearly, this is a great addition to a watch-collectors wardrobe.

The return of the historic A. Lange & Sohne Centennial Tourbillon
A. Lange & Sohne is renowned as one of the most distinguished watchmakers from Saxony on the market today, but life hasn’t always been smooth sailing. As a witness and victim of the vicissitudes of German history over the past two centuries, the destiny of the brand has come full circle. From its foundation in 1845 by Ferdinand Adolf Lange in Glashutte to its destruction during WWII, and from its expropriation after the war to its miraculous resurrection after Germany’s reunification in 1990 by the founder’s great-grandson, A. Lange & Sohne has taken a circuitous path but is now safely home. Today, A. Lange & Sohne is celebrating another return, this time marked by the return of a valuable pocket watch that was lost in the turmoil following WWII to its rightful place in the Museum Bautzen.Known as the “Centennial Tourbillon”, this exquisite gold pocket watch with a miniature enamel painting of the goddess Minerva was one of only a few tourbillo
Grand Seiko Hi-Beat SLGH005 White Birch Calibre 9SA5 - Review, Price
The presentation in early 2020 of the Grand Seiko “White Birch” or “Shirakaba” already gave us a great impression and it clearly was one of the watches I was eager to see in the metal. There’s no turning around, this SLGH005 represents the best of what GS can do for its permanent, classic collection. Mechanical noblesse, slightly renewed design language merged with respect of the brand’s traditions, exquisite finishing and a dial that is out of this world. And having this piece with us at the office for a review only confirmed what we imagined. So let’s have a closer look at this new Grand Seiko Hi-Beat SLGH005 White Birch.BackgroundThis SLGH005 is a new reference in the brand’s collection but isn’t entirely a novelty. It is built on existing foundations, which were introduced in the context of Grand Seiko’s 60th-anniversary, celebrated back in March 2020. What this SLGH005 is the first model in the permanent collection to be
Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Master Chronometer - Video Review
The Seamaster is one of Omega's oldest collections. It was born in 1948 and modelled after watches that Omega delivered to the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. Over the years, the collection expanded drastically, ranging from elegant timepieces to ultra-robust instruments. 1993 marked another milestone in the evolution of the Seamaster when Omega introduced the Seamaster Professional 300M, a watch that would become an emblem of the brand when it was worn by a secret agent to become the official 007 watch. Today, as part of our in-depth video reviews, we’ll take a closer look at the blue Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Master Chronometer, the latest generation of this all-time classic, one of the definitive dive watches and the perfect modern “Bond Watch”.The destiny of the SMP 300M would change forever after it was worn by Pierce Brosnan in the 1995 film Goldeneye – even though 007 was wearing a quartz model back then. From this moment on, the Seamaster D
Interview - Independent Watchmaker Aaron Becsei Of Bexei Watches
There’s watchmaking…. and there’s Watchmaking. To me it becomes Watchmaking with a capital when we’re talking about watchmakers who have the knowledge, the ability and the patience, to create a timepiece entirely by hand. I’m not talking about redesigning a few plates or bridges of an existing movement. Although we all love Dufour’s Simplicity (based on a JLC calibre) or Voutlainen’s Observatoire (based on a Peseux calibre), to me these watches are drop-dead gorgeous, uber-desirable, but maybe not so much watchmaking with a capital W. When talking about Watchmaking with a capital W, think along the lines of George Daniels or Roger Smith. Hand-made is key, and a movement entirely developed by the watchmaker, without ‘borrowing’ the escapement, the keyless works. Today, we’re talking with non-other than a proper independent Watchmaker. We’re talking with Aaron Becsei, the namesake of Bexei Watches. Oh… And a small PS
First look: The new Hamilton Jazzmaster Performer Auto Chrono in Sporty Black
Hamilton¡äs Performer is a relatively new series in the Jazzmaster collection, which comprises sporty, contemporary, and versatile watches, including seven 42mm Auto Chrono models. Classic in their appearance and with an undeniable wrist presence, these chronographs now face stiff competition from within, thanks to the arrival of the sleek, black-clad Hamilton Jazzmaster Performer Auto Chrono. Let’s check the updated design and see what sets it apart. This new edition of the Jazzmaster Performer Auto Chrono is, in essence, the same as the rest of the series yet effortlessly elevates its cool factor with a bold 42mm x 15.22mm stainless steel case coated in sleek black PVD, but that’s just the beginning of its appeal. Motorsport inspiration – the crisp tachymeter scale with silver-toned markings adds a dynamic touch. Complementing the design are rounded, rectangular chronograph pushers and a fluted crown, matching the case’s aesthetic. With sapphire crystals on the
