Buying Guide: Six Watches That Confirm Green Is Here To Stay
We often talk about trends in watches, as designs, materials and colours regularly follow the preferences of the public. Sometimes, though, these trends phase out very slowly or not at all. And when it comes to colour, that’s always a very enjoyable topic of debate. Take blue, for instance, which was at one point ‘the new black’. One of the more recent on-trend colours that seems to stand the test of time, almost unaffected, is green. We’ve touched upon the topic before, but it shows no signs of blowing over any time soon. Weekly Watch Photo - Vintage Omega Watches - Monochrome Watches
Another start of the week with our Weekly Watch Photo and today we’ll show you just how incredibly beautiful vintage Omega watches can be. However these vintage beauties are not available anymore at a authorized retailer, so please enjoy the photos and after that we wish you “happy hunting.”The vintage Omega chronograph (shown above) is from 1957 and features the same movement that can be found in the vintage Omega Speedmaster shown below. That movement, a caliber 321, was developed by Albert Piguet of a company called Lemania, a well known movement manufacture that had been acquired in 1932 by Omega’s parent company (SSIH). Caliber 321 was used in the Speedm

Oris announces its collaboration with Wings of Hope, a US-based humanitarian organisation that uses aviation to bring medical support to remote communities. As part of the brand's “Change for the Better” programme, Oris hopes to raise awareness about the work of Wings of Hope by launching two special models based on the Big Crown pilot's watch: a 40mm steel model limited to 1,000 pieces and a 38mm yellow gold model limited to 100 pieces. Following the flight path established last year with the Big Crown models fitted with the brand’s new proprietary automatic movement, these Big Crown x Wings of Hope abandon the signature coin-edged bezel and downplay some of the vintage elements. What's more, to differentiate themselves as special models deliberately made to shine a light on Wings of Hope, the signature pointer date function has also been eliminated.Wings of HopeFounded in 1963, Wings of Hope delivers medical support to remote and vulnerable communities in more than
