Luxury Watches |
The Franck Muller 6850 B CASA BC O AC is from the Casablanca 6850 collection. This watch has a very aesthetic look with Roman numerals in bubble writing with blue minute hands. The dial is made in silver to compliment them. The case is made in steel to provide durability to the design, and the glass is protected from scratches with the help of sapphire crystals. The bracelet is made in steel as well. The caliber and reserve are both promising.

Intoducing: Andersen Geneve Jumping Hours Black Jade Stone
Master watchmaker Svend Andersen has been a renowned figure on the independent watchmaking scene since 1980. The Danish watchmaker's ingenious and original approach to complications, including his sophisticated calendar watches and world timers, has captivated collectors and top-tier watch brands for years. To celebrate his 40th anniversary in watchmaking in 2020, Svend Andersen produced a stunning edition of his famous Jumping Hours complication in platinum with a blue guilloche dial. Four years later, the Jumping Hours returns with a hyper-sleek, black jade stone dial.In 1995, Svend Andersen was commissioned by a client to create a bespoke piece with jumping hours combined with a day/night display and minute repeater. After seeing the unique piece, Cartier requested the complication for its Pasha Jour et Nuit in 1988. Andersen Geneve's 40th Anniversary Jumping Hours eliminated the day/night function and, inspired by the layout of jumping hour pocket watches, placed the hour window at
Only Watch 2015 - Unique Chopard Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 Mark Webber - Monochrome-Watches
When it comes to racing-oriented watches, Chopard has an interesting legitimacy to offer to watch lovers. Besides the Mille Miglia collection (that has been renewed this year with a quite cool design and in-house movements), the brand also has another highly masculine and robust collection, the Superfast. This chronograph has already been the base for a specific edition dedicated to Porsche and the 24h of Le Mans. For Only Watch 2015, Chopard will donate a unique edition of the?Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 made together with?Le Mans driver Mark Webber. The?Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 is not a total stranger to us, as earlier this?year, Chopard came with?an edition dedicated to the Porsche 919 that won Le Mans and designed with racing-legend Jacky Ickx?and last year,?Chopard already introduced an edition of this watch, also celebrating the partnership with Porsche Racing. This year, the Superfast Chrono (we?previously introduced the?entire Superfast collection)?comes in a unique edition
Introducing the IWC Portofino Hand-Wound Monopusher Chronograph (specs & price) - Monochrome-Watches
Recently, IWC introduced a unique edition of the Portofino launched at the occasion of the?Tribeca Film Festival 2015, a watch that later had been auctioned by Christie’s. Surprisingly, this unique timepiece came with a brand new movement,?never seen before in?the rest of the Portofino collection: a hand-wound mono-pusher chronograph. However, we knew?this was?not just a unique attempt, this was?a launching piece for?IWC's new in-house Hand-Wound 8-Days Monopusher chronograph movement – and here is now the regular edition. Please welcome the?IWC Portofino Hand-Wound Monopusher.Basically, this new?IWC Portofino Hand-Wound Monopusher Chronograph is a mechanical (but not visual) evolution of the actual?IWC Portofino Hand-Wound Eight Days.?Until now, IWC's Hand-Wound 8-Day calibre, a large movement that can be found for example in the Portuguese Hand-Wound 8 Days - 75th Anniversary Edition, featured a small off-center?second display (at 6 o'clock), a power reserve indicator (at

The end of the year 2022 is nigh. And once again, at MONOCHROME, we’ve seen a lot of new watches (in all fairness, it was more evolutionary than revolutionary), and we reviewed more models than ever before. Introducing the Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Collection Excellence Platine - Monochrome Watches
In the past years Vacheron Constantin has been harmonizing their collections, yet within the new line-up they kept some room for one very special collection, comprising only platinum watches. This is the Collection Platine Excellence and the newest piece within that collection is the Patrimony Collection Platine Excellence. Like the other models in the Collection Platine Excellence, it features the distinctive sand-blasted platinum dial that adds an ‘understated cool’ to it. The Patrimony that we’re looking at today isn’t exactly new, as it already exists in the Patrimony collection, albeit in 18k pink or white gold (with creme/eggshell or slate grey dial). Like most of its siblings in this collection, its name is just “Patrimony” plus a reference number, so it doesn’t carry a “Small Seconds” binomial as in the past. It’s just “Patrimony” and although this one has a small second sub dial, there are also models with
