Hands-On with The 2018 Cartier Santos Large Size (Specs & Price)
The Cartier Santos is back! Based on the first wristwatch created by Cartier in 1904 for aviator Santos Dumont, this legendary model had been in the collection since its introduction in 1978 – at least, the modern version of the Santos, with a steel case and screwed bezel. However, the Santos was discontinued two years ago – and for a good cause. A new model is about to hit the stores and Cartier presented its redesigned version at the SIHH. Meet the new?Cartier Santos 2018, tested here in steel, large size and with quite some cool features for the strap/bracelet.The Cartier Santos needs no introduction. It is one of the most iconic watches of the Parisian Maison, and certainly the most coveted men’s offer of the brand. Created in 1904 to accompany aviator Santos Dumont on his intrepid flights, it has gone down in history as one of the first wristwatches to hit the market. The Santos gained popularity at the end of the 1970s when the model was revived in a sporty, bra
Record Results for LVMH in 2019, Strong Growth For Bvlgari and Hublot
Year after year, the publication of the annual results of LVMH is no more a surprise… Growth has become the norm for the world’s largest luxury group, which operates in multiple businesses such as fashion, wine, perfumes, selective retailing and, of course, watches and jewellery – the group is the owner of Bvlgari, Hublot, TAG Heuer, Zenith and, a recent deal, the integration of Tiffany & Co. (which will be effective mid-2020). As for 2019 results, LVMH recorded revenue of €53.7 billion in 2019, up 15%, and organic revenue growth was 10%. Impressive numbers, yet the situation has to be nuanced, depending on the business units and the regions. There’s no debating the constant growth of LVMH’s revenues, without even accounting for the recently acquired companies. Even without them, the group continues its progression both for revenues and profits – both were up 15% between 2018 and 2019, with an impressive net profit of 13% of the revenues. Bernard

Oris Aquis Date Cherry 43.5mm (Specs & Price)
There are several big name brands that offer affordable divers with pro credentials. Seiko's expansive Prospex collection and Hamilton's Khaki Navy Frogman Automatic are a couple of examples. Oris is a major player in the field and last year's Aquis Date 41.5mm Cherry Red introduced an eye-catching cherry red dial that seemed to target land dwellers. Let's be honest, many dive watches never actually see water outside of a rain shower or occasional dip in the pool. They're cool, stylish and have a rugged vibe that enthusiasts gravitate to, so the brand added some eye candy to an otherwise purpose-built piece, with the new Oris Aquis Date Cherry 43.5mm.The 43.5mm diameter of the stainless steel case of the Oris Aquis Date is well sized for a serious diver. In fact, that's the original size of the Aquis when it launched in 2011 and it has since been offered in smaller packages such as 39.5mm and 41.5mm. The style was updated in 2017 to a more refined aesthetic, but the collection has alwa
