Luxury Watches |
The Spirit of Liberty has a 42 mm stainless steel case with partial gold plating. It has a silver dial with dauphine styled hands, and an open back. The watch has a power reserve of 80 hours and has about 25 inlaid jewels. This particular Hamilton watch has a very sophisticated look to it. It includes a mono-block rotor that is skeletonized in an H shape and also features aviation-inspired cut-outs, making it stand out.

Video: The Racing Pedigree of the Laurent Ferrier Sport Auto
The Laurent Ferrier Sport Auto isn’t the brand’s first attempt to enter the highly competitive luxury sports watch market. Three years ago, LF presented a watch with typical features of the category: an integrated design, a combination of robustness and superior mechanics combined with a rather personal touch to make this Grand Sport unique in the sports watch field. Yet, the production was highly confidential, and the price was equally exclusive because the watch was equipped with a complex tourbillon movement. Last year, Laurent Ferrier presented the Sport Auto, a watch that symbolises far more than just a new model in the collection; it’s a watch that results from a long-time friendship, born on the race track and infused with a passion for motorsport. This story, as well as the entire creation process behind the Laurent Ferrier Sport Auto, is the topic of our latest in-depth movie (posted above). Behind the Laurent Ferrier Sport Auto is a st
Introducing The New Oris ProPilot Altimeter Carbon Composite
Although it is probably far more useful to mountaineers, hikers, climbers, skiers and other adventurous kinds than modern-day airline pilots flying in a pressure-controlled environment, the Oris ProPilot Altimeter remains a rarity, as it is one of the very few mechanical altimeter watches available. In fact, it is the only one with an automatic movement! First presented as a Big Crown ProPilot in 2014, this year, the Altimeter watch gets upgraded and comes in a slimmer, high-tech case.Oris wanted the new ProPilot Altimeter case made from innovative lightweight and solid materials and turned to a Zurich-based company, 9T Labs. 9T Labs has experience in the air, space and auto industries, but Oris was the first watch company to use the 9T Labs technology. The company specialises in designing and developing manufacturing solutions for more robust and lighter parts made at lower cost and with minimum environmental impact. Their partnership resulted in a lightweight 47mm carbon fibre ProPil
Heritage Corum Lab 01 (Specs & Price)
With its new Lab collection, Corum aims at taking risks and experimenting. The timepieces of this collection eschew traditional codes and instead provide an off-beat take on watchmaking where mechanics take precedence. Meet the Heritage Corum Lab 01, a shaped watch with a bold design and an openworked, micro-rotor movement. The first two Labs' are barrel-shaped limited edition watches bringing their architectural, openworked movements to the fore. The Lab does not have much of a dial allowing the wearer to admire the watch's inner workings. Measuring 39.85mm x 55mm, the barrel-shaped case features soft curves contrasting beautifully with powerful angles. Crafted in black DLC-coated titanium, it features an embossed rubber inlay on the side of the case with the Limited Edition' caption. It is also fitted with a crown unusually positioned at 6 o'clock.
