Luxury Watches |
This Jazzmaster Men's Watch by Hamilton is another exquisite piece present in the market. It comes with a complete stainless steel look with a stainless steel bracelet and fixed silver-tone bezel. The minute markers present on the outer rim give this watch a modern touch. Even though the dial on this watch is silver in color as well, the sub-dials have a chocolaty brown accent to it, which makes it stand out.

Review of the new Montblanc 1858 Chronograph Tachymeter with Villeret Chronograph Monopusher (live photos, specs & price) - Monochrome-Watches
Splendid! Let's be?clear from the beginning, this new watch from Montblanc is just splendid. Design-wise, MB again did a great job with the design of the new chronograph. It is vintage-inspired, beautifully balanced, luxurious yet sporty at the same time, elegant - and unfortunately limited to a very small production. We would already be very happy with only this, however there's more, much more: the movement, calibre MB 16.29, is one of the nicest chronograph movements available on the market today. The new?Montblanc 1858 Chronograph Tachymeter is comes with this stunning Minerva calibre MB 16.29?monopusher movement. And you'll see, the devil is in the details.Excuse this?burst of enthusiasm, but here, at Monochrome-Watches, we have a thing for the Montblanc Villeret Chronographs. Throwback… 2006, the Richmont Group takes over an antique and iconic name: the Manufacture Minerva, famous for their chronograph movements, including the legendary 13-20 CH. 2007, Richemont Group affec
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Openworked 26735ST
By now, it shouldn’t be a secret anymore that Audemars Piguet’s famous Royal Oak is turning 50 this year and that the brand has unveiled a new Jumbo Extra-Thin version, the 16202. The brand has made a serious effort to mark this occasion with a new collection with special rotors, new models and a slightly retouched look. One model that combines all three of those elements is the all-new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Openworked, a homage to the first-ever self-winding tourbillon wristwatch: the 1986 Audemars Piguet Calibre 2870.When talking about revamping the overall look of the Royal Oak, this, of course, implies only small touch-ups. It’s not that we’re witnessing a radical departure of design and architecture all of a sudden. Following in line with novelties like the 16202 and the Jumbo Openworked 16204, the overall shape is retained, yet refined. The changes are minimal at best and sometimes even hard to identify unless you have bot
Bulgari Octo Finissimo Skeleton 8 Days - Hands-On, Specs & Price
With the Bulgari Octo Finissimo collection celebrating its tenth anniversary earlier this year, one would think everything has been done by now. We’ve had time-only Automatics, GMT Chronographs, Tourbillons, Minute Repeaters, Perpetual Calendars and more, with pretty much every single one setting ultra-thin records. Nevertheless, Bulgari remains diligent in expanding the Octo Finissimo range with technical marvels, all using the same instantly recognizable design ethos. The latest addition might not break any outright records for thinness, it is an extremely impressive watch for a number of reasons. As part of Bulgari’s novelties for Geneva Watch Days 2022, this is the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Skeleton 8 Days.Octo OriginsThere’s no denying the Octo Finissimo as a modern-day horological icon but who would have thought when Bulgari presented it less than a decade ago it would set the tone for a relentless push into ultra-thin watchmaking? With a signature mix of horizonta
Is the mid-size Santos de Cartier the best option, or is it a classic poor mans choice? - Monochrome Watches
A direct comparison between the large and the medium-sized Santos de Cartier raises the question: what is actually large? Normally the term mid-size' is marketing slang for a ladies' model', but that's definitely not the case here. We put the Cartier Santos mid size and large size, side by side.?With the reintroduction of the Santos, Cartier really hit the right note at the 2018 edition of the SIHH. The revamped icon (yes, we hate that word as much as anyone, but hey, this watch genuinely deserves that designation) was a success for several reasons. The chief reason was undoubtedly the style of the watch. The new Santos is instantly recognizable, masculine, modern while still carrying that unmistakeable Cartier elegance. Alexandre Meerson Altitude Premiere & Altitude Officier - Review with live photos & price - Monochrome-Watches
A few months ago, we introduced to you a new luxury brand with a simple but highly enjoyable design and an interesting horological content: Alexandre Meerson. By only looking at the press photos and reading the press release, we found that both the story was highly captivating and that the timepieces were not denied of elegance. However, nothing?is better than?a try and all the photos, as good as they can be, will never replace the experience of having the watch strapped on the wrist. That’s why we get our hands on all the collection: the?Alexandre Meerson Altitude Premiere & Altitude Officier. The two collections –?Altitude Premiere & Altitude Officier – share several similarities, among which is the design of the case. It is composed of a totally round central part and of two lug modules, with an Art-Deco twist, that hold the strap. The integration of such modules in a modern watch is not that common and, most of the time, the previous attempts led to an obso
