Yes, the name does state Aviation, but that doesn't mean you can't wear the H64611535 Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot watch casually. This accessory is meant for those who want something different than the usual silver, black or grey combinations. This watch has a stainless steel case with a brown leather strap. It features a Black dial with luminous hands as well as a 12-hour scale around an inner ring. The Minute markers are around the outer rim. The black dial makes everything pop out quite a lot. It is perfect for a relaxing casual day or even a more active one.

Independent Watchmaking - Tsoroev Rashid, One-Man Brand from Russia
Watch enthusiasts come in all shapes and sizes, but one thing that characterizes them all is the passion for the trade. That passion can stem from an encounter with watches getting stuck in one's mind as a fond memory. In some cases, that memory can be so persistent it eventually drives someone down the path of becoming a watchmaker. Small-time watchmakers with stories like this are sprouting left and right, and today we take look at an interesting young man from Russia; Tsoroev Rashid, who's launching his eponymous brand.Creating watches under his own name, Tsoroev Rashid is based in Ingushetia, Russia. Although the vast majority of watchmaking is done in Switzerland, you can find interesting creations scattered around the world, as long as you're willing to go beyond mainstream brands. Russia is primarily known as the birthplace of brands like Raketa, and for those with an interest in independent and highly creative watchmaking, Konstantin Chaykin might be familiar.? Ad -
2022 Bulgari Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater and Tourbillon Chronograph
With eight world records since 2014, the Octo Finissimo legion marches forward to consolidate Bulgari's ultra-thin watch empire. Just a few days after the unveiling of the mind-bogglingly thin Octo Finissimo Ultra, the Roman Maison presents new iterations of some of its Haute Horlogerie complication models, namely the Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater and Tourbillon Chronograph Skeleton Automatic, with new colourways and new materials.Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater Titanium/BlueStanding out by its refined design and technicality, the Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater is the thinnest minute repeater ever with a movement of 3.12mm housed in a 6.61mm case. The model was originally presented in 2016. The new version combines a sandblasted titanium case and a matte blue openworked dial. Just like for previous versions, the hour-markers and small seconds are openworked. These apertures allow Bulgari to further enhance the acoustic properties of the watch.? Buying Guide - 5 Complication Watches Offering Excellent Value For Money - Monochrome Watches
After going through some of the best dress watches of 2017 (part 1 and part 2), it is time for our year-end buying guides to pick 5 traditional complication watches from 2017, stressing value - because an expensive watch is not necessarily a better watch. All you need from a watch, without having to take out a new mortgage. This doesn't mean affordable watches, but rather impressive complications with a price that is far from being shocking.Complete Calendar + Dual-Time - Oris Artelier ComplicationOris launched the Artelier Complication in 1991. In 2017, this signature piece is updated?with?a sleeker, lighter feel in keeping with the classical design of the model. A great classic in style (and function), it displays the day, date, moon phases as well as a second time-zone. The watch features a 40.5 mm steel case and a guilloche dial. It comes in different versions among which the pink gold markers is our favourite. And all of that comes for just EUR 2,000 Now that's an impressive price
Business Richemont Announces Solid Double-Digit Sales Growth at Annual General Meeting - Monochrome Watches
While times have been difficult for the industry in the last 2 to 3 years (see the 2016/2017 results of Richemont Group), signs of recovery are now more and more apparent. Indeed, Swatch Group’s?Half-Year Report 2017 showed growth (with increase of sales and better profitability). It’s now time for the other?luxury powerhouse, the Swiss-based Richemont group, to announce a massive increase in sales for the five months ended 31 August 2017, as we’re talking double-digit numbers and no negative data to be seen in any region or segment. It’s hard to hide that Richemont Group was in a difficult situation for the last 3 years. Indeed, sales, as well as the overall profitability of the Group, were clearly at half-mast. The latest yearly results of the group reported that?sales decreased by 4% and operating profit was down by no less than 14%. Even worse, the specialist watchmaker division?saw sales fall 11% and operating profit fell 57%. In terms of business, the situa
Spotted - The ice blue PRX Powermatic 80 Tissot is quiet about
The Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 has been a smashing success for about two years now. Ever since it was first launched, people embraced it with open arms. Here was a luxury stainless steel sports watch with very good looks, solid mechanics, a very decent price tag, and above all; it was and still is widely available! And although Tissot doesn’t always deliver what we want or expect, the PRX collection is home to quite some colourful and mechanical variations! One new colour we spotted online and apparently on people’s wrists just now is a very tasty ice-blue PRX Powermatic 80! And believe it or not, for the time being, Tissot itself is dead-silent about it. Nevertheless, it’s news, it’s available, so we’re covering it!To be perfectly clear, besides the dial colour, absolutely nothing has changed between this one and all the dial variations that came before it. It still has a 40mm by 10.8mm stainless steel case with the very familiar 1970s integrated design. Th
