The Hamilton Khaki Pilot Pioneer Alu Auto Leather has an extraordinary and exclusive design, mostly because of its aluminum-made 41mm case. The case holds the automatic Hamilton version of the ETA movement, which guarantees high and accurate performance. It has a distinctive black dial with silver-tone hour makers and losange hands. The uniqueness of the watch does not end here; it is completed by the black leather strap that makes the timepiece easy to wear and comfortable.

Hands-On - The Raketa Baikonur Watch For Cosmonauts (Specs & Price)
When having in mind the association between space exploration and watchmaking, many will think about the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, the Bulova Moon Chronograph the Fortis Official Cosmonauts Chronograph. And rightfully so, as these watches are probably the most popular space watches. Yet, there were many more timepieces to make it into space, or specifically designed for astronauts/cosmonauts. One of them comes from a country that has been a pioneer in everything related to space, Russia. Developed in 2016 with cosmonaut Sergei Krikalev, one of the men who contributed the most to the space conquest, this piece is the Raketa Baikonur Watch and today we go hands-on with it.60 years of space conquestA couple of weeks ago, mankind celebrated the 60th anniversary of the first-ever manned spaceflight. Indeed, on 12 April 1961, right in the middle of what will be known as the space race, Russia, through the Vostok program, will be the first nation worldwide to send a man into outer s
Antiquorum - Monochrome Watches
On october 16th the next Antiquorum watch auction will be helt in New York. The antiquorum auctions are very interesting for any watch enthousiast, for several reasons. First of all the number of watches being auctioned are enormous and the number of interesting, amazing or stunning watches are almost equally enormous! The online catalog shows everything up for sale, including very good descriptions and photos of the watches. There are 330 wristwatches up for sale and 74 other timekeepers like pocket watches, clocks and travel (alarm)clocks. Especially some rare and vintage sportswatches steal the show i think, but there are also plenty of reasonably priced modern watches that are well worth a look.Maybe this is not my favorite watch of the auction but with an estimate selling price of between 500 and 1,000 USD this Mont Blanc Timewalker chronograph might turn out to be a bargain. Pre SIHH 2014: Introducing the Montblanc Star Twin Moonphase - Monochrome Watches
In the past years we could see various trends in the watch industry. Last year blue dials popped up at various watch barnds, which almost made it look like they agreed on doing the same. A trend we’re seeing for some time now, is recreating the inconic watches of the various brands and this has led to quite some interesting re-issues. The latest trend seems to be watches with a moon phase indication and Montblanc comes with a double moon phase: the Montblanc Star Twin Moonphase. Montblanc’s Star Twin Moonphase will officially be launched next week at the SIHH, and than we’ll show you hands-on photos here and via the Monochrome social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr. The new Star Twin Moonphase shows all the recognizable Star collection style elements, something that this side-by-side of two full calendar watches immediately makes clear. It’s a blend of classic elegance and characteristic formal, with a load of visual treats like the guill
Oris Aquis GMT Date (Specs & Price)
The Oris stand was buzzing at Baselworld 2019. The brand's high-performance dive watches were the stars of the show with a surprising and very cool iteration of the Sixty-Five in a retro two-tone bronze and steel case and bracelet, and two Aquis limited edition models dedicated to ocean environmental projects, the Aquis Clean Ocean and the Aquis Great Barrier Reef III. ?Fleshing out the Aquis collection with a relevant and practical function for globetrotters, the brand presented its Aquis Diver GMT Date.?Diving into three different time-zonesThis is the first Aquis model fitted with a GMT complication. Assuming that most dive watches are bought for aesthetic reasons, and rarely get used beyond the odd dip in the pool, brands can get away with unusual combinations of complications that no professional diver would dream of using in the abyss. To date, the robust, water-resistant Aquis has received a host of additional functions, some of them like the chronograph and day/date models clea
Introducing The Green Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Glassbox
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic Carrera chronograph last year, TAG Heuer unveiled the Carrera Glassbox and a 42mm Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon, a timepiece equally characterised by seamlessly integrated domed sapphire crystal. Inspired by the domed hesalite crystals found on early Carrera models, this watch with refined ergonomics presented a distinct and clean aesthetic. Initially offered with a striking blue dial featuring silver-coloured elements, polished sub-dial surrounds, and an orange lacquered central chronograph seconds hand, this technical Carrera exuded the essence of a racing chronograph poised for action. In a nod to contemporary trends, TAG Heuer has expanded its offering of teal green-coloured models, already present in the Carrera Chronograph series, to include the new Tourbillon model, creating what is described as “a sophisticated statement piece.”The 42mm case of the Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon with a thickness of 14.33 mm
