This particular design is specifically made for outdoors. The black dial and strap radiates the aura of strength and durability. The Hamilton Khaki automatic has a black dial base which houses green luminous Arabic digits and hour / minute hands. The minute markers can be located at the outer rim of the dial. Meanwhile, the Arabic markers for 24 hours are visible in a smaller circle at the center of the dial. A small aperture is visible at 3 o' clock for keeping track of dates.

IWC Big Pilot Constant-Force Tourbillon Edition IWC Racing IW590501
At IWC, one of the most emblematic collections is, without doubt, the so-called Flieger or Pilot’s Watch. Inspired by the past of the brand, when IWC was delivering robust observation watches to military forces, they are some of the most revered watches for pilots of the industry. But when you think of pilots, even for IWC, you might have in mind a flight instrument. Yet, IWC also uses this name for another kind of pilots… Think Hamilton, think technical objects, think motorsport. This is what this new IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Constant-Force Tourbillon Edition “IWC Racing” IW590501 tends to demonstrate.?Motor racing, and Formula 1 in particular, is a world of cutting-edge technology and innovative materials, where precision and reliability are keys to success. It’s a world that always looks at the future, where the past is only synonymous with lower performance. For this reason, the Big Pilot Edition “IWC Racing” gets rid of all the elements
Hands-On - Habring2 Perpetual-Doppel (Live Pics, Specs & Price)
In 2004, an Austrian couple, Maria and Richard Habring, embarked on a surprising but successful horological journey by creating their own brand named Habring2. Fifteen years is a relatively short period of time but has proved enough to accomplish their goal: to become a true Austrian watch manufacture, respected and capable of producing great watches. To celebrate this anniversary,? Habring2 are unveiling their most complex watch to date, a perpetual calendar topping the signature DoppelChronograph movement – Habring2 obliges!BackgroundFifteen years aren’t enough to summarize the history of Habring2. To understand where this unique, Austria-based watch manufacture comes from, we have to go back in time. Before starting his own brand with his wife, Richard Habring worked at IWC and was involved in movement creation. His main and best-known project had to do with a complex (understand expensive) complication: the split-seconds chronograph. Richard Habring’s task was to
Hands-On - Cuervo y Sobrinos Buceador Caribe Collection (Specs & Price)
Mixing its Cuban roots, which are very much reflected in the design of the watches, with traditional Swiss manufacturing, Cuervo y Sobrinos is a brand like no other. Warm, original, slightly flamboyant with a typical Latino vibe, the brand can’t be blamed for not being consensual. There is a true personality to these watches, and the brand’s latest models are not here to change that. Indeed, right in time for summer, Cuervo y Sobrinos has recently presented a new collection of aquatic models with a generous splash of colour and a design that is nothing like your usual Submariner-wannabe. Today, we’ll take a closer look at this new Buceador Caribe Collection.?Cuervo Y SobrinosCyS is unique in many ways, starting with its origins. Indeed, it is the only Swiss brand with Cuban roots. Established in Havana in 1882, the brand was revived in the late 1990s and has carved a niche with models that lean heavily on vintage design cues. The watches created by the brand play on t
Grieb & Benzinger Blue Wave based on vintage Minevra column wheel chrono - Monochrome Watches
Grieb & Benzinger are known for unique high-end complicated wristwatches. Their newest watch is the Blue Wave with a beautiful skeletonized vintage Minerva column wheel chronograph movement. Grieb & Benzinger create unique watches based on historical classic movements and acknowledged masterpieces from the period between 1880 and 1930.?Over the course of time, these magnificent movements from brands like Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin and Minerva are just waiting to be rediscovered. And that’s exactly what Grieb & Benzinger intends to do with their Platinum Editions. The new Blue Wave is such a watch. Based on a beautiful vintage Minerva mono-poussoir (or single button) chronograph with a column wheel, they created a very special watch. The movement is probably from 1925 and after it’s been in the hands of master watchmaker Hermann Grieb and master engraver Jochen Benzinger it’s ready to be enjoyed for many, many years again. Hands-On Seiko 5 Sports Time Sonar SRPJ45 and SRPJ47
It’s fair to say that the Seiko 5 Sports collection is one of the most versatile mechanical watch lineups in its price range. If on top of versatility, we tally the factor of manufacture-made movements, as well as the overall quality the Japanese brand is known for, the Seiko 5 Sports collection is practically unbeatable. A potential contender could be the Swatch Sistem51 – with even lower prices – but without the range and resilience of a Seiko 5 Sports model. And some new “Time Sonar” models have recently been released… Sounds familiar? Yes, but these new references SRPJ45 and SRPJ47 are a bit different and non-limited.In addition to the traditional configuration and Field models, we’ve seen the Seiko 5 Sports watch emblazoned with the motorcycle livery of the Honda Super Cub. It has also been reinterpreted by Japanese artist Kosuke Kawamura with cool, colourful translucent dials inspired by the 1970s Time Sonar-inspired references SRPJ41 and
