2020 Breitling Chronomat B01 42 "Rouleaux" Bracelet (Price)
The name “Chronomat” can refer to multiple watches at Breitling and holds a significant place in the brand’s history. Of course, the first watch to bear this name was a 1940 Chronograph, which was one of the first watches with a slide-rule bezel. However, for most watch enthusiasts the name Chronomat refers to an icon of the 1980s, to one of Breitling’s most powerful designs. And today, the brand is bringing it back with an eye-catching case, the signature Rouleaux bracelet and several limited editions, including the “Frecce Tricolori”. Meet the 2020 Breitling Chronomat B01 42 Collection.Quick ReminderBreilting’s history has a lot to do with pilot’s watches and chronographs. One of the most important watches in the entire brand’s lineage was created mid-20th century, as one of the earliest watches with a slide-rule bezel, a tool that helps pilots to perform calculations while flying. Following a 1940 patent for the design of a rotat

Industry News: Richemont Reports 14% Sales Growth For First Quarter 2023, Driven Mainly By Jewellery
Following 2022 with impressive growth for the industry (a record year for exports) for luxury groups involved in watchmaking and jewellery (LVMH, Swatch), indicators and analysts were not so confident regarding the outlook for 2023. Growing inflation, geo-political tensions and a potential economic contraction could have led to lower sales. However, following the announcement by LVMH and Swatch Group of their Q1 or Half-Year sales (respectively +17% and +18%), it’s now time for Richemont Group to disclose its sales figures for its first quarter, which ended 30 June 2023. Introducing the Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Collection Excellence Platine - Monochrome Watches
In the past years Vacheron Constantin has been harmonizing their collections, yet within the new line-up they kept some room for one very special collection, comprising only platinum watches. This is the Collection Platine Excellence and the newest piece within that collection is the Patrimony Collection Platine Excellence. Like the other models in the Collection Platine Excellence, it features the distinctive sand-blasted platinum dial that adds an ‘understated cool’ to it. The Patrimony that we’re looking at today isn’t exactly new, as it already exists in the Patrimony collection, albeit in 18k pink or white gold (with creme/eggshell or slate grey dial). Like most of its siblings in this collection, its name is just “Patrimony” plus a reference number, so it doesn’t carry a “Small Seconds” binomial as in the past. It’s just “Patrimony” and although this one has a small second sub dial, there are also models with
