This remarkable piece by Hublot showcases not only Avant Garde artistry but also displays excellent craftsmanship. The watch has a black stainless steel case presented on a back rubber, and silk embroidered strap. The bezel is crafted from carbon fiber and silk. The dial of the watch, however, is the true show stopper. It is made from silver silk and has black embroidery on it just as the strap and bezel. It has diamonds set in as hour markers and has skeletonized silver hands. All these elements put together make this watch one of a kind.

Tutima Tempostopp Chronograph 90th Anniversary - Baselworld 2017 Review (Specs & Price)
For one reason or another, Tutima was not part of Monochrome's team 150 meetings for Baselworld 2017. As we passed by?one of its displays however, we were captivated by a particular watch?and its movement: a bi-compax chronograph with a perfectly balanced dial?and large, optimally spaced sub-counters. We wanted to know more and we were not disappointed, as the Tutima Tempostopp deserves interest Especially when the back is revealed. The Tempostopp was?unveiled by Tutima to celebrate its 90th anniversary. Following the introduction of an in-house minute repeater in 2011 and an in-house base calibre in the Patria collection, the new T659 chronograph calibre constitutes further proof of how Tutima has invested in?its development and manufacturing capacities - and with significant results, especially when you consider how many watch brands are actually capable of developing and manufacturing chronographs in-house (spoiler alert: not many) Ad - Scroll to continue with article
Konstantin Chaykin Takes On The Silver Screen! - Monochrome Watches
The Russian genius returns with another incredible creation! Once again culling inspiration from the pages of history, the Cinema watch pays homage to an inventor from a bygone era.?The last time we caught up with Konstantin Chaykin it was to discuss the Levitas watch; a watch whose inspiration drew back to Robert Houdin's early 19th century Mystery Dial' clocks. Now it seems that he has turned to a different kind of magic, movie magic to build an incredibly clever and whimsical watch! The Eadweard Muybridge Cinema Watch is a 31 jewel, manual wind movement with 48 hours power reserve, creation telling the wearer time in hours and minutes. The first impression I had of the shape and layout of the 37mm by 47mm stainless steel case was that of a medium-format camera something old-fashioned at a minimum. By pressing the button at 9 o'clock on the case, an image of a horse and rider galloping appears! See for yourself! Ad - Scroll to continue with article
Hublot - An extraordinary breed of watches - Monochrome Watches
Hublot has yet to make its first ordinary watch. When introduced to the world in 1980 by creator and founder Carlo Crocco it might as well had come from a different planet.A golden watch with a unusual yet distinctive port hole design on a vanilla scented rubber strap. As hot as this combo is nowadays, so not it was in the early 1980's. But this creation was not lost for the world because it was embraced by a group of early adaptors. This group included the King of Spain, Juan Carlos, who became an avid fan of Hublot. This is also one of the reasons why Spain is still one of Hublot's premier markets and it is rumored that their sales figures there even beat . When having in mind the association between space exploration and watchmaking, many will think about the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, the Bulova Moon Chronograph the Fortis Official Cosmonauts Chronograph. And rightfully so, as these watches are probably the most popular space watches. Yet, there were many more timepieces to make it into space, or specifically designed for astronauts/cosmonauts.
