Luxury Watches |
Truly a gentleman's watch, the Hublot Classic Fusion incorporates traditional metals and modern materials into an elegant silhouette. Masterfully designed to be timelessly elegant and deceptively simple, the dial displays the date at the 3-hour mark, while its white color beautifully complements the signature black strap. With a transparent case back, time whispers all its secrets, offering you the opportunity to see contemporary watchmaking and quality workmanship working in flawless harmony.

Omega De Ville Tresor - More than Meets the Eye (Live Photos & Price) - Monochrome-Watches
Although it's best known for its sport models, Omega has always produced a large variety of timepieces that could be worn in almost any circumstance. During a visit at an?Omega Boutique, I was surprised to find that my attention wasn't focused on the timepieces I'm usually most impressed with. Yes, I saw the new Seamaster 300 in all its glory, I worshipped the Speedmaster once more, I was just torn apart by the Ploprof (happens to me almost every time, and then thoughts of selling a kidney come to mind). But what grasped my attention was a 40mm dress watch, luxurious but austere, well proportioned and so complete in every aspect: the Omega De Ville Tresor, a re-edition of a 1940's watch produced by Omega. Its ancestor, the archetypal Tresor, was an oversized watch (37,5mm) by the standards of the time, with a very simple 3-hand dial and a pink gold case. At its heart beat the legendary Calibre 30 (produced from 1939 up to 1963, in almost twenty variations). The Calibre 30 also became Om
The new Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Geographic reviewed - with LIVE photos - Monochrome Watches
Today Jaeger-LeCoultre officially launches the new Master Geographic. Monochrome had the chance to wear it for some weeks and brings you a review of the all-new Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Geographic in rose gold. When we visited the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in January this year, Jaeger-LeCoultre presented an amazing number of very beautiful new releases. Just think of the Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea?that we just reported about, the new Reverso Ultra Thin Tribute to 1931?and several new models in the Master Control collection, including the Master Geographic. Ad - Scroll to continue with article Overall appearanceIt isn't difficult to like the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Geographic. Now this may sounds a bit blase, but the Master Geographic made an incredibly positive impression. It's elegant, chic and a bit casual at the same time, meaning it goes perf
The Oris Williams FW41 Limited Edition Full Carbon - Monochrome Watches
For the last 15 years, Oris and Williams F1 have been enjoying a mutually beneficial union. As the world-renowned Formula 1 team's official watch partner, Oris periodically releases special edition models to celebrate significant milestones for the team. A perfect example is the recently launched Martini Racing Limited Edition Chronograph, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Martini Racing Team, Williams' principal sponsor. Now, another special edition joins the line-up; the Oris Williams FW41 Limited Edition.Unless you're a hardcore F1 fan, it's probably not immediately obvious what significant Williams F1 milestone this watch is celebrating. FW41 is the name of William's 2018 Formula 1 car, which was officially launched back in February of this year. It's also the first car that Williams’ chief technical officer Paddy Lowe and head of aerodynamics Dirk de Beer have been involved with from the start. They only joined the team at the beginning of last year. Ad -
Glashutte Original Sixties and Sixties Panorama Date Annual Edition Fiery Orange (Specs & Price¨¤
Following last year’s beautiful and successful “Annual Edition” of the?vintage-inspired Glashutte Original Sixties and?Sixties Panorama Date, which depicted a superb metallic green dial, the Saxon brand returns in 2019 with a new model. Again, these watches will be produced for just one year – and you can expect to have a new model for 2020. With the exuberant?1960s design codes in mind, the 2019 editions of the?Glashutte Original Sixties and?Sixties Panorama Date are presented with warm, bright and bold?Fiery Orange dials.Basically, no drastic changes here. The recipe used on the 2018 Annual Edition is repeated: a watch based on vintage-inspired Sixties models (with or without the signature Panorama Date), emblematic watches of the GUD-era (back when the brand was controlled by the GDR), a non-limited production (in terms of numbers) which will run for a year only, textured dials and bright, gradient colours. This started in 2018 with a surprising but accomplis
Value Proposition Marloe Haskell Hand-Wound ETA (Specs & Price)
Marloe Watch Company is a brand of only a few years, but already has a nice portfolio of affordable, mechanical watches. It has chosen to use hand-wound movements in all four of its lines and I'm a big fan of this decision. I like the daily interaction that comes with winding a watch and the view from an exhibition caseback is more detailed without the interference of a rotor. Most of its watches use either Seagull or Miyota movements, but its flagship Haskell now has a Swiss ETA beating inside. I hesitate to claim that an ETA movement is superior to a comparable Miyota - is a Ferrari superior to an Acura NSX or Lexus LFA? - but the perception surrounding Swiss movements is real and I applaud Marloe for a well-executed piece with Swiss technology. Let's take a closer look at the Marloe Haskell.BACKGROUNDMarloe Watch Company is based in Oxfordshire, England and was founded in 2015 by two watch enthusiasts and friends, Oliver and Gordon. They have a shared passion for hand-wound watches
