The silver grey and aqua blue timepiece is a unique color combined look created by the IWC by the name of Pilot's 8014 Automatic. With the power reserve of forty-two hours, the timepiece houses an overall simple dial. The dial, itself, houses white Arabic letters, the IWC logo at 12 o' clock, and a small window at 3 o' clock for keeping track of the day of the week. This men's wrist watch is designed for those summer days where one would take a stroll out on a beach for a calm and serene environment; though it can be worn to any event that suits you.

It looks great, yes, but what is what, and what does what? What is the purpose of all those wheels, levers, bridges and springs? Read on to learn how a chronograph actually works.?The Lange 1815The 1815 family of watches is one of the 5 families of the A. Lange & Sohne collection. VIDEO - Moon Landing 50 - What Makes the Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch such an Icon, by Raynald Aeschlimann
Exactly 50 years ago, mankind accomplished an impressive journey. For the first time in history, a human being walked on soil that wasn’t Earth, on an astronomical body that wasn’t its natural habitat. On July 20th 1969, two men walked on the Moon. Their names: Armstrong and Aldrin. Their mission: Apollo 11. On their wrists, a watch that would become a legend, earning its name as the “Moonwatch”. This is the story that made the Omega Speedmaster Professional an icon. Two years ago, in partnership with Omega, we produced one of our most ambitious series of videos, “The Speedmaster Chronicles” in which five men shed their light on one of the most iconic watches ever created: the Omega Speedmaster Professional “Moonwatch”. Since we’re celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing today, we thought it was the perfect time to take a look back at some of these episodes. Ad - Scroll to continue with article
Hands-On - Ulysse Nardin Marine Torpilleur Military Pre-SIHH 2018 - Specs & Price
A few weeks ago, Ulysse Nardin announced its Pre-SIHH 2018 watches, which include 2 very classical watches – the Marine Tourbillon Blue Enamel and the Classico Grand Feu – with all the DNA of the brand: enamel dial, nice in-house movement, Marine inspiration, elegance with a twist and relatively affordable price. A third watch was presented, however a much more original one: the?Ulysse Nardin Marine Torpilleur Military. Surprised by this piece, we had to check it in the metal to vote in favour (or not) of this new Military take on the Marine roots. To understand the new?Ulysse Nardin Marine Torpilleur Military, we have to back to mid-2017, when UN introduced a new, accessible and essential version of its Marine watch, the Torpilleur. This watch, deliberately inspired by some mid-19th century Marine Chronometers manufactured by the brand, and at the same time cleared of most of the fancy features found on the?standard Marine collection (see here for an example) was a refreshi
Six Fascinating Rectangular Watches To Consider For The New Year
The new year has only just started, but we already have a piece of advice for you: if you’re hunting for new watches, which I guess most of you probably are, explore the industry a little. There is plenty of very interesting and cool stuff to be found off the beaten path, and it doesn’t take much to enter a whole new world you might have never known existed. Take rectangular watches, for instance, which offer a welcome break from the tons of round ones. And as you can tell from our selection, it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to wear something stylish and Art Deco-inspired with a rectangular case. Then again, you can splurge if you really want to, as we’ll happily demonstrate in this Buying Guide!Alpina Heritage Carree Automatic 140 YearsLast year, Alpina celebrated its 140th anniversary in style with the Heritage Carree. The brand first introduced this sleek style in a pair of limited editions using New Old Stock movements?but followed that up with a non-limited
Silicon and the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Skyfall - Monochrome Watches
The title of the article could easily refer to a new material that James Bond is trying to locate before the world will be distroyed by an evil villian using that material. However that isn’t the case. The increased use of silicon in watches is?subject?of attention in this article. Omega’s latest release is the Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Skyfall, that we already told you about in June of this year, features a silicon escapement. By the way, last weekend?this very watch that Daniel Craig wore during the shooting of the movie Skyfall,?has?just been?auctioned by Christies for no less then ¡ê 157,250 GBP!
