IWC has always been known for its bold timepieces and the unique designs that make head turns in a room. One such timepiece produced by IWC, designed to perfection is this Big Pilot's Watch. The watch features a robust 46mm black dial that displays a slightly recessed subdial at the 3-hour mark for the weekday and a date aperture at the 6-hour mark. The bold dial is encased in a stainless steel casing which comes with an inner soft iron lining that protects against magnetic fields. The watch wraps around your wrist with a soft, comfortable black pilot style riveted calfskin leather strap.

Comparing the old and the new A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 (live pics, specs & price) - Monochrome-Watches
How hard must it be to renew an icon, to improve on what people think to be one of the best ever created watches, one of the most recognizable timepieces of the entire industry? The A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 is one of those icons that you don’t want to change because every single detail is just superb and so deliberate that changing would possibly ruin the entire?equilibrium of its?design. However, for 2015, there is a new Lange 1 and as it is available from now in stores, let’s have a deeper look at what the Saxonian manufacture changed, improved (or possibly deteriorated). The 2015 A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1We want first to reassure the aficionados and collectors, the changes are very, very subtle – at least for the visual side. Since its launch in 1994 for the rebirth of the brand – on the?24 October 1994 to be precise – the Lange 1 is a sort of alien (relatively speaking) in the very classical field of German watchmaking. While?the vast majority of

Horologically, the new year gets started with the LVMH Watch Week 2023 in Singapore, where Bulgari, TAG Heuer, Hublot and Zenith join forces to present some of their novelties. Introducing Chopard L.U.C Urushi Watches for Chinese Year of the Ox
While the Western world has celebrated the arrival of 2021 a few days ago, China traditionally has a different calendar and?Chinese New Year commences on the 12th of February, welcoming the Year of the Metal Ox. Multiple luxury and high-end watch brands will participate in the commemorations by introducing timepieces with an Ox theme – knowing the importance of the Chinese market, this still makes complete sense. Part of them is Chopard, which is launching two L.U.C watches, one displaying the traditional Chinese timekeeping system – Sh¨ª Chen – and the other picking up the aesthetic codes of the finest Asian craftsmanship – Urushi lacquer. Meet the new Chopard L.U.C watches for the Chinese Year of the Ox.Each year since 2013, Chopard has dedicated a L.U.C timepiece to the concurrent symbol in the Chinese zodiac. The concept is invariably developed on the basis of the ultra-thin L.U.C XP watches; graced with a dial featuring the Urushi technique of Maki-e combini
Embracing The Winter Cold With Six Icy-White Watches
For a large part of the world, the cold season is setting in. Temperatures are dropping, daylight gets pushed back by darkness, snow and ice are grinding cities and towns to a halt and so on. To turn things around and embrace the cold, why not opt for a cool white watch for the winter season? The colour is usually most associated with summer sun, the beach or the pool, but it works just as fine in winter, I’d say! With this in mind, here are six snow-white watches to get you through the winter slum!hublot square bang Unico white ceramicBig, bold, and mostly white, the Hublot Square Bang Unico in white ceramic certainly packs a visual punch. This square-shaped watch from Hublot measures 41mm by 12mm and has a modular white ceramic case with black and titanium elements. The dial is pretty much absent, revealing the in-house Calibre HUB1280 flyback chronograph movement underneath. The large indices & hands still make it relatively legible. Strapped to a structured white rubber s
Jacques Bianchi JB200 Dive Watch Re-Edition Kickstarter
Kickstarter can be a beautiful way to launch a brand and it abounds with great and equally disappointing projects. From time to time, we see great campaigns surface and today is one of them, marked by a distinct French accent. France has a long history when it comes to watches and, specifically, dive watches. From Comex to Captain Cousteau, watches for professional divers are closely associated with the city of Marseille, on the Mediterranean Sea. Another name, less famous perhaps but no less significant has to be added to this list: Jacques Bianchi, a watchmaker whose workshop overlooks the Old Port of Marseille. In the 1980s, he created a watch specifically for these men, and today it stages a comeback. Meet the Jacques Bianchi JB200 Dive Watch Re-Edition launching now on Kickstarter.? Behind this name is a man who is now in his eighties. With his workshop next to Marseille’s port, Jacques Bianchi has known Jacques Mayol and Captain Cousteau and his secon
