Set yourself a class apart with the new Jaeger LeCoultre's 2786 Master Grande Automatic 'men's. The dial base is an electric blue shade while housing silver hour markers, and minute and hour hands. This contrasts beautifully with the charcoal black shaded leather strap. The main dial also houses the 'company's logo right below 12 o' clock whereas another small subdial right above 6 o' clock. The timepiece houses a power reserve of forty-three hours. The luxurious timepiece can battle the contemporary wrist watches yet still remain timeless.

Hands-on Frederique Constant Manufacture Perpetual Calendar, a QP priced under €8,000 (Live photos) - Monochrome Watches
Among the classical watchmaking complications, the perpetual calendar is certainly one of the most desirable, as being a strong technical achievement. Because of what it does (being able to have a watch correctly adjusted for the coming 100 years…), it is sought after by collectors and can be seen as a sort of achievement in a collection. However, as expected, this is not a cheap type of watches. Well, it was not until a few years and it is even truer now, as at Baselworld 2016, a QP priced under 8,000 Euros has been launched, the?Frederique Constant Manufacture Perpetual Calendar. And don’t expect it to be featured with a poor content, as it has several arguments under the hood. What is a Perpetual Calendar and why it isn’t cheap? Before we start with this short technical explanation, we recently published a complete overview on the subject, here. To understand why a perpetual calendar exists, we first have to remind that our calendar, the Gregorian Calendar, is based
Norqain Freedom 60 GMT 40mm Bronze Midnight Blue
In just over a couple of years, Norqain has demonstrated a rather impressive coherence in its collections and also quite a rapid expansion. Right from the beginning, the brand even announced partnering with Kenissi, a renowned Swiss movement manufacturer (also working for Tudor, Chanel or Breitling), propelling them straight in a more high-end league. From all the models we’ve seen recently, the Freedom 60 GMT, a vintage-inspired watch with practical complication, has certainly been amongst our favourites and it returns this year with a cool combination of colours and a compact case. Here’s the new Norqain Freedom 60 GMT 40mm Bronze with Midnight Blue dial.?The Freedom 60 GMT, a watch presented in late 2020, was the first important evolution of the collection – the most classic collection of the brand, with the least rugged appeal. As explained by the brand's CEO, Ben Kuffer: When we began designing these new Freedom watches, we listened closely to what customers and
Recap: The Best Vintage-Inspired Watches of 2023
If we talk about trends in watchmaking, vintage has been one of the main sources of inspiration for brands since around 2010. And yet, after all these years, re-editions of glorious past models and vintage-inspired watches are still a hot topic in 2023. Retro-styled watches, vintage reissues and old-school design language are still staples in brand collections across the board. However, finding the right balance between modern watchmaking and retro design language isn’t as easy as it seems. And for this very reason, selecting our five Favourite Vintage-Inspired Watches of 2023 was a bit more complicated than we anticipated…?Note: make sure to share your favourite vintage-inspired models of 2023 in the comment section at the end of this article. With so many retro-styled watches on the market this year, we look forward to seeing your top choices.Angelus x Massena LAB Chronographe MedicalWe start this selection with a slightly unexpected brand, Angelus. Hands-On - Bovet Recital 21 Retrograde Perpetual Calendar (Specs & Price)
Functional elegance – The perpetual calendar holds a special place in the heart of watch aficionados. Its mechanical memory and ability to display the date for decades into the future, even for leap years, is a feat of horological engineering. But most of all, the perpetual calendar is a thing of beauty. And when you combine it with a brand named Bovet, you can expect the result to be pretty spectacular. Meet the?Bovet Recital 21 Retrograde Perpetual Calendar, an elegant, original and superbly executed watch presented at SIHH 2019.For watch enthusiasts, there are not many experiences as rewarding as admiring a fine perpetual calendar. Many such wristwatches conform to the canons of classical beauty, in particular, those set by the Patek Philippe. Still, it is always a great pleasure to discover a beautiful perpetual calendar that stands out from the crowd, specifically as so many examples of this complication display the ubiquitous Dubois-Depraz module layout. In this respect, di
Delma Blue Shark III Azores - Dive Watch Hands-On (Specs & Price)
Delma is a relatively discreet brand, not necessarily known by a wider audience, but that still impresses us with its combination of high-quality watches and fair prices. Something that we don’t see that often these days… The brand has long been involved in the field of dive watches, starting in 1969 with the so-called Periscope, followed in 1975 by the?Shell Star, its first pro-diver. But it’s mainly with the Blue Shark collection that the brand has gained interest in this field, with one of the toughest watches on the market, despite an accessible price. Today, we’ll take a closer look at the latest iteration of this watch, the Delma Blue Shark III Azores edition.?As you’ve probably guessed thanks to its name, the Delma Blue Shark III represents the third evolution of a watch that was launched in 2011, as the brand’s most robust and most capable dive watch ever created. While the Shell Star was paying tribute to past watches of Delma, the Blue Shar
