With the marriage of pure and unadulterated tradition and the breath of contemporary modernism comes the Longines L61414716 ladies equestrian rectangular bracelet watch. With triple safety folding clasp and push-piece opening mechanism, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and several layers of anti-reflective coating on the underside, this particular timepiece is not only chic and feminine looking but cannot be easily damaged. The Silver "flinqu¨¦" dial works beautifully with blue painted Roman numerals and minute/hour hands.

"What If" - The A. Lange & Sohne Datograph in STEEL
What if… What if I could imagine and create my dream watch, the timepiece I always dreamed of, the watch that does not exist and that I’d love to own one day. Well, if you read Monochrome on a regular basis, you already know that we’re not shy when it comes to?making predictions and using Photoshop to imagine potential watches (don’t worry, we?will be doing it?again for Baselworld 2017…). Today though?we have something a bit different. I’ve been playing around with Photoshop again but not to create a potential , but rather to imagine my dream watch, a watch that I’m pretty sure will never exist but that haunts my nights. For me, it is the A. Lange & Sohne Datograph, the ultimate chronograph by?my standards and a watch that?I’ve dreamed about seeing?in stainless steel… What if?My name is Brice Goulard. I am the Managing Editor of Monochrome-Watches and therefore, I am a watch journalist. But above all, I am a watch collector a
Hands-On: Impressions about the AP Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding 43mm
Oversized watches are a thing of the past…? Well, on paper yes. For two to three years now, many brands have been scaling down their watches. Timepieces can move back to 40mm or sometimes even less. Yet, some models are made to be big and bold. 1990s and early 2000s Panerai, the IWC Big Pilot (the real one, not the 43mm)… And then there’s the APROO, a.k.a the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore. Born big, continuously bold, highly distinctive and recognizable among thousands. And if you remove the complex display of the classic chronograph, it gives you this new reference 15605SK. Not downsized, just streamlined. But will such a large watch with a simple display work? Won’t the ROO lose some of its appeal in such a sleek form??The original ROO, the reference 25721ST with chronograph, a.k.a The Beast – Image by www.acollectedman.comBorn in 1993, the Royal Oak Offshore defined a new genre. Just like the classic Royal Oak broke the norm in 1972 as one of the v
Bamford London Commando GMT and Predator GMT - Introducing, Price
George Bamford is best known for customizing (officially authorized) watches from heavyweights like Zenith, and Patek Philippe via his company, Bamford Watch Department. His latest watch brand, Bamford London, has been building watches from scratch for a couple of years now and had an unusual start. There are now two main collections with several variants and collaborations, and they exist alongside his famous customizations of outside brands. The Commando GMT and Predator GMT add new colourways to the existing GMT line, but the changes are visually striking. Let's take a closer look.?A customizer firstIt all started with a Daytona George received on his 18th birthday. A bit dismayed that many at a dinner party had the same watch, he decided to customize his Daytona with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating via the family business. The silver steel was now stark black and became an instant attention-getter. While vacationing in the south of France, he ended up with 25 orders before
