The Flagship Automatic 35.6mm by Longines has a nice blend of modern and traditional looks. The white dial looks classier with the rose gold bezel and case. The hour markers and hands are also rose gold, which creates a lovely appearance. There is a date window at 3 o'clock and the Longines logo at the top. The black leather has a crocodile pattern, making it more secure with a tang buckle.

Video - Secrets Behind Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Grande Sonnerie
There can be no doubt that Le Brassus-based watchmaker Audemars Piguet was and still is one of the best representatives of the art of Haute Horlogerie. Certainly, the design and style of its watches have evolved over the years to become more contemporary, but one thing that can’t be denied is the brand’s ability to manufacture some of the finest complication movements. Keep in mind that Audemars Piguet is one of the rare watchmakers capable of crafting a Grande Complication wristwatch. The latest creation of the brand, which belongs to the category of traditional, handcrafted movements, is dedicated to the music of time. Combining two distinctive features, that of the Supersonnerie construction and the Grande Sonnerie mechanism (a speciality of Audemars Piguet), the brand has recently released the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Grande Sonnerie Carillon Supersonnerie. Today, in one of our in-depth videos (which you can see above), we take you inside the manufacture to see how
Introducing The 2023 Bulgari Aluminium Collection With New Chronos and Capri Editions
The original Bulgari Aluminium watch was released in 1998 and caused quite a sensation. A hit-watch back in the days, it was cool, different and slightly provocative. A cult model for the brand that even made it on the side of an Alitalia Boeing 747. In 2020, Italian brand Bulgari relaunched this emblematic watch?in a design that remained faithful to the original one, but with major technical improvements. Since then, the collection has expanded with a GMT model and various limited/special editions. For 2023, Bulgari adds some new, summery editions – so-called Capri, and it’s easy to understand why – as well as a pair of updated chronographs and a lefty edition to be worn for tennis games. The Updated Bulgari Aluminium ChronographFirst and foremost, before we speak about the cool and unprecedented limited edition models, let’s focus on standard production watches. From the first day of the relaunch, the Bulgari Aluminium Collection included an automatic chronogra
A Deep Dive Into The World Of Cases And Dials By F.P. Journe
It’s common practice for brands to outsource certain steps in the manufacturing of watches to specialised companies. It is, in fact, how the vast majority of watchmaking entities operate. Cases, dials, movements, crystals and straps can all come from different suppliers around the world before being assembled into a fine mechanical watch. Watches by brands high and low have been produced this way for years, decades even. There is, however, a growing trend of ‘in-house‘, not necessarily concerning a movement. Sure, a movement designed and fabricated within the confines of a watchmaking atelier is the ultimate achievement, but the craft of making dials and cases in-house, to name just two elements, is not to be overlooked. We recently had the privilege to delve into the fascinating world of Cadraniers de Geneve and Bo?tiers de Geneve, the case and dials makers for one of the most revered independent watchmakers: Fran?ois-Paul Journe. In September 2012, Fran?ois-Paul Jour

Tudor Heritage Black Bay ref. 79220R - Specs & price - Monochrome Watches
While Baselworld 2012 offered quite some mind-blowing novelties, two new dive watches from Tudor were on everybody’s tongue. The Tudor Heritage Black Bay and the Tudor Pelagos are both loaded with design elements of vintage Tudor Submariner models from the past. The new Heritage Black Bay combines elements of the Tudor Submariner ‘Snow Flake’ ref. 9411 and the Tudor Submariner ‘Big Crown’ ref. 79220R, that shares the same dial design with the early models like the Tudor Submariner ref. 7928 Mk.I or Mk.II. The Heritage Black Bay also has a depth rating that’s similar to that of vintage Tudor Submariners, which is 200 meters. What’s missing is the word Submariner?!?
