A. Lange & Sohne Odysseus White Gold, Leather or Rubber Straps (Price)
Six months ago, in October 2019, A. Lange & Sohne unveiled the Odysseus, its first luxury steel sports watch. Unlike the icons that have dominated this segment for decades, the Odysseus struck out with its very own personality inciting mixed reactions. The Achilles’ heel of this watch, at least gauging by the comments of our readers, was the steel bracelet. Beautifully finished according to Lange's high standards and with an ingenious extension system, there was something about the bracelet that for many just didn't look quite right. Well, looks like the folks at Lange have been listening because today a new version of the Odysseus is launched in a white gold case with a grey dial and an integrated black rubber or leather strap. And what a difference it makes! The inaugural voyage of OdysseusIt shouldn't really come as a surprise; other luxury sports watches, like AP's Royal Oak of 1972, were originally met with conflicting responses. The Odysseus, launched on 24 October 2019

As we anticipated, the tenth and final 25th Anniversary Lange 1 watch is a spectacular one-minute tourbillon. Lange & Sohne in 2014 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Lange 1 in a very spectacular platinum edition with a black enamel dial, this tenth and final 25th anniversary model is decked out in a 38.5mm white gold case with a silver dial with blue trimmings, the same material and colour combination as the other nine celebratory Lange 1 models of 2019.How the Lange 1 met the tourbillon Dresden, 24 October 1994 has become a landmark date in watchmaking history marking the return of A. Hands-On: The Rectangular Moritz Grossmann Corner Stone
In 2019, Moritz Grossmann ventured into the scarcely populated territory of rectangular watches, unveiling three dial variants in five different versions as part of the Art Deco-inspired and appropriately named Corner Stone series. The Corner Stone featured a specially designed shaped calibre with a central hour and minutes display and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock; the collection included a limited edition pair with white Grand Feu enamel dials, which has long found a place in connoisseurs’ collections. References in white and rose gold with solid silver opaline or black lacquered dials were reserved for the regular catalogue. Recently, we had the opportunity for a hands-on experience with the Corner Stone in a striking rose gold version – an exceptional timepiece with a distinct identity and a unique elegance. The contextTo fully appreciate the Moritz Grossmann Corner Stone, one must acknowledge that combining a rectangular case and rectangular movement is no

The TAG Heuer Carrera gets a fiery red dial in the latest limited edition
Last year TAG Heuer surprised us with a very handsome and trendy green special edition of one of its most iconic models in the current line-up. The dial of TAG Heuer Carrera Green Special Edition had a unique tone, following the green trend on foot, yet with a bit of a twist. This year we again see a lot of green, however also some new colours being thrown in the mix, which is a very nice development. Recently we’ve seen TAG Heuer introduce us to a purple dial Monaco and this time around it is again the Carrera’s turn to change faces. Going from green to crimson, this is the TAG Heuer Carrera Red Dial Limited Edition.Named after the border-to-border Carrera Panamericana road race in Mexico, the Carrera was the first motorsports-oriented chronograph by Heuer. Even though the race ran in the first half of the 1950s before being cancelled due to several lethal accidents, the Heuer Carrera wouldn’t be introduced until 1963. Prior to that, Heuer produced the 404, which had
