Hydroconquest 47 mm Chronograph by Longines is one of the best watches for adventure seekers. It has a touch build with a rubberized black band. This makes it both simple and reliable when you are out there in races or on hiking. The hour counter, seconds' window, and date window have a nice spread on the jet black dial. This watch gets a greater vigor due to the red markings on the dial and bold numerals on the bezel.

IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph Edition Racing Green IW377726 (Specs & Price)
Do we even need to introduce the IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph anymore…? This watch certainly is amongst the most iconic pieces manufactured by the Schaffhausen-based brand and, in its modern version, sums up years of slow evolution of the Pilot’s Watch concept at IWC. Usually seen in black with a utilitarian look (under the ref. IW3777), IWC today brings a cool and unprecedented racing theme to this piece, with the new Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition Racing Green IW377726.As said, this watch needs little introduction. The IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph is a classic the brand’s collection, as the entry-level chronograph and a nice alternative to the large and expensive Big Pilot’s Watch or a more masculine and slightly more complex option compared to the Mark XVIII. Indeed, it combines a standard, out-sourced chronograph movement with a larger, bolder case – without being oversized as the Big Pilot's. Ad - Scroll to continue with ar
Hands-On - The 2022 Editions of the Arnold & Son Ultrathin Tourbillon
Indie watchmaker Arnold & Son introduced its Ultrathin Tourbillon Escapement (UTTE) in 2013. With a height of just 2.97mm, the UTTE was one of the thinnest tourbillon movements on the market until Bvlgari smashed all records with its 1.95mm thin Octo Finissimo Tourbillon in 2014. Revisited with different dial textures and a remarkable skeletonised version in 2016, the Ultrathin Tourbillon is back in 2022 with on-trend grained dials. Offered in platinum with a green dial and red gold with a blue dial, the latest models benefit from an upgraded movement with an even longer power reserve and a redesigned case with a slimmer profile. The offset layout of the dial, with the hours and minutes counter at noon mirrored by the large tourbillon aperture at 6 o'clock, is familiar and designed to echo the way information was relayed on John Arnold's historical marine chronometers. Introducing the Longines Heritage 1973 with Column-Wheel Chronograph Movement - Monochrome Watches
Longines has a long and rich history, from which they can draw inspiration. The result is an ample collection called the Heritage collection, comprising for example the 180 Anniversary Watch (which we reviewed), the Wheems Second-setting Watch, the Lindbergh Hour Angle Watch (both are in our History of the Pilot Watch saga) and the Avigation A-7 Chronograph (see here). And now Longines returns to the seventies with the striking Heritage 1973.The Heritage 1973 is equipped with Longines’ proprietary chronograph movement, caliber L688. A beautiful and reliable movement that employes a column-wheel to operate all chronograph functions. The Heritage 1973 with silver/white dial just came in for an extensive review – which will follow soon – so we can already show you some photos we took this morning. The Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry Reports Growth in 2018 - Downturn in December - Monochrome Watches
The Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry (FHS) reports exports up 6.3% at CHF 21.2 billion in 2018, back above the CHF 20 billion mark. Exports have now climbed for two consecutive years as demand bounced back in 2017 (CHF 19.9 billion, +2.7%), after two years of decline. The performance achieved in 2018 is still inferior to that of 2015.The 2018 Omega Seamaster Diver 300M – Last July, the Swatch Group and its subsidiaries, including Omega, reported 2018 half-year sales up 14.7%.Growth slowed over the second semester as exports had benefited from a 10.5% jump over the first six months of 2018. If the trend has been positive for two years now, the industry outlook remains uncertain overall, in particular in view of fears on global trade tensions and concerns over the spending of affluent Chinese. The watch industry has been facing a number of changes and challenges over the past years with digital transformation, new distribution schemes and evolving consumer preferences. This un
Introducing: TAG Heuer Updates The Aquaracer Professional 300 Date & GMT
TAG Heuer is renowned for its automotive heritage and racing chronographs, but the brand also boasts a strong nautical and water-sport legacy, particularly with its Aquaracer dive watch collection. Introduced in 2004/2005 as the direct successor to the 2000 series, the Aquaracer line has become a cornerstone in TAG Heuer’s portfolio. The collection was fully revamped in 2021 with a rather convincing update: more elaborate, with sharper lines yet still very recognizable. This year, TAG Heuer once again expands and updates the collection, with several new Aquaracer Professional 300 Date and Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT versions, powered by new proprietary movements and featuring appealing new dials.?The main update with these new versions of the Aquaracer Professional 300 is their movement, with a transition from off-the-shelves Sellita calibres to proprietary movements. These new engines have been conceived with AMT, a sister company of Sellita focusing on higher-grade, propriet
