Everything has light and dark associated with it. Similarly, Longines La Grande Classique Quartz L45230116 is the light counterpart to its La Grande Classique de Longines L45124972. The similar hourglass design is elevated slightly by the presence of a series of diamonds embedded on the outer bezel. The pure white dial contrasts beautifully with black painted roman numerals working as hour markers and black minute and hour hands. With scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass and a solid back, the timepiece's longevity is further enhanced by the presence of silver stainless steel bracelet as opposed to the leather belt.

Spotted - Football Player Roberto Firmino with an HYT H0
Usually, professional football players show a preference for a handful of watch brands. They are usually spotted with mainstream brands like Audemars Piguet, Hublot, Patek Philippe, Richard Mille or . I have observed a couple of players with timepieces from A. Lange & Sohne and Patek, and also watches from independent brand Urwerk. This leads us to today's player who has purchased a watch that tells the time using an unconventional method. Here's Roberto Firmino's HYT watch.Roberto Firmino is a Brazilian football (or soccer for our US readers…) player for English Premier League club Liverpool FC and the Brazil national team, as an attacking midfielder, forward or winger. On 31 August 2019, Firmino became the first Brazilian player to score 50 goals in the Premier League when he netted the third and final goal in a 3¨C0 win over Burnley.Photo by Chloe Knott – Danehouse/Getty ImagesHe recently purchased a watch from HYT. 5 Cool Bronze Watches that Show the Appeal of this Unique Material - Monochrome Watches
Bronze as a material in watchmaking is here to stay; that much is certain. What started as a trendy material about a decade ago turned into a regular thing nowadays. Every year we get to see new adaptations of the corrosion-resistant material, with brands experimenting with bronze across the board. It wasn't until recently, however, that the phenomenon of patina was addressed. To counter the production of patina, brands started to introduce special alloys that prevented massive patina build-up and limit tarnishing over time. Things have developed to such an extent that we even see full bronze watches now, so all the more reason to focus on bronze in today's buying guide.TUDOR BLACK BAY BRONZEIt's not often we see a full bronze watch, but the recently introduced Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze is a real winner. Made from a special aluminium and bronze alloy, it features all the material traits, minus the heavy patina. The alloy Tudor uses gathers a minimal amount of patina over a lon
Hands-on with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Perpetual, in steel with black dial (live photos, specs & price) - Monochrome Watches
A long time?ago I saw this extremely beautiful watch with its black face and several small sub dials with, for me at the time, unknown indications. It was the first time I saw a perpetual calendar and it was the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Perpetual, belonging to the older Master Control series. This watch is etched into my memory and has been one of my all-time favorites ever since. All the better now Jaeger-LeCoultre is introducing a black dial version for their perpetual calendar again, now dubbed Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra-Thin Perpetual.?Since the introduction of the first Master Ultra-Thin Perpetual, in 2013, we’ve seen several dial variations: silver/white-grained (only available in the white gold version), silver (available in a stainless steel boutique edition), and eggshell beige (in the 18k red gold version.) Now, three years later,?the brand from Le Sentier introduces the black dial version, and it looks great. The black adds a bit of sportiness to the classic perpetua
Introducing: Omega Drops Multiple new Moonshine Gold Seamaster Aqua Terra
In the past few days, we’ve introduced a new (and really appealing) Bronze Gold CK 859 and reviewed the Paris 2024 Speedmaster Chronoscope… Which makes a lot of sense as we’re now right in the middle of the Olympics. But that’s not all for Omega, as we have more to introduce. Probably the brand’s most versatile and most classic collection, the Seamaster Aqua Terra expands once more – following recent versions with glossy black dials – with the addition of multiple new references cased in Moonshine gold, the brand’s proprietary yellow gold alloy.?Moonshine gold…? It’s no secret that Omega has long been testing with materials, from titanium (used first with the Alaska project), 904L steel (which Omega could have pioneered) and ceramic, but also recently the brand showed innovative spirit with its own gold alloys. It started with Sedna Gold, the brand’s vision of pink gold, then followed by Canopus Gold (white gold) and Moo
