Luxury Watches |
This watch is a work of amazing craftsmanship. It does not have any flashy of extravagant features to it but still manages to look not only stylish but also very elegant. The mother of pearl dial is set with diamonds that indicate the hour markers and it also features stick styled silver steel hands. The case of the watch is stainless still which is also used to make the bezel and the bracelet. Although this watch does not feature many intricate design or bold colours it still manages to look simply stunning.

First Look: Hublot Unveils Magic Ceramic, Claimed to be the World's First Multicoloured Ceramic
When it comes to ceramic watches, Hublot has, over the years, managed to be one of the most creative brands by achieving cases and parts in the brightest possible colours imaginable (green, orange, light blue, yellow, sand…) Obtaining strong colours on ceramic is more difficult than many imagine, the base material – ZrO2 Zirconium Oxide – is white and must be combined with metallic oxides to reveal its colour – and often, colours become pale. For over 10 years, after mastering monochromatic tones, Hublot has been working internally on the next phase, which will be associated with the 20th anniversary of the Big Bang; multi-coloured ceramic, as a solid, homogeneous material, which is claimed by the brand to be a world’s first. It’s named Magic Ceramic and it’s released in a 20-piece Big Bang Unico limited edition.?The famous two-tone “Pepsi” bezel of on the GMT-Master II, with two colours on the ceramic insertBefore we look at what
Girard-Perregaux Laureato Ghost Limited Edition Bamford - News, Price
Revisited in 2016 with a line of limited editions, followed by serial production models a year later, the Laureato is Girard's Perregaux vision of a luxury sports watch. A few months back we covered the Girard-Perregaux Laureato Absolute Crystal Rock with a sandwich dial and a case crafted from carbon glass. Now, the Swiss luxury watchmaker celebrates 45 years of the Laureato with a 45-piece limited edition Laureato Ghost watch in collaboration with successful watch customizer, Bamford Watch Department. The original, 1975 Girard-Perregaux LaureatoAny watch manufacturer attempting a steel sports watch during the 1970s deserves some recognition and Girard-Perregaux happened to have developed a particularly successful one named the Laureato. At the time (1975), Girard-Perregaux was one of the very few watchmakers daring to do so, after Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak of 1972, of course. The concept of the Laureato became an important pillar for the brand, carrying some main attributes; a thin
The 2022 Longines Evidenza With Sector Dials (Specs, Price)
Longines certainly knows how to bring its historical models back to life. Most of these attractive vintage-inspired models are congregated in the Heritage collection, including the Classic Sector Dial, the Tuxedo Chronograph?and the Legend Diver. Historical designs are not the exclusivity of this collection, however, and the brand with the winged hourglass logo often includes them in its more traditional ranges. Case in point, the new Longines Evidenza collection of tonneau-shaped models for 2022, which now comes equipped with elegant and vintage-ish sector dials. And in a wide array of colours. The Longines Evidenza might not be the most sought-after collection of the brand, but it has a legitimate background and is a reinterpretation of a tonneau-shaped model launched over a century ago. Simple, slightly different, and very elegant, it is meant to fit men’s and women’s wrists with its compact dimensions. The case is 26mm in width and just over 30mm in length. Small on pape
Hands-on - Hublot Big Bang Meca-10, With The Brand's New 10-day Power Reserve Movement (specs & price) - Monochrome Watches
Until recently, the concept?of Hublot was mainly focused on the look and the combination of extreme materials, such as ceramic of course, but also super-resistant gold alloys, carbon fibre printed with motifs?or sapphire. Hublot is first of all a design, a concept, not only?focussed on horology but also on the looks – and?with all respect to the brand, this has been very successful until now. Then came the first in-house movement of the brand, the Unico – but that was a chronograph. With the idea to emphasize more on watchmaking skills and integration, this year the brand introduced a new watch, with a brand new movement, where watchmaking is used to create style, architectural design and horological pleasure. Here is the?Hublot Big Bang Meca-10, with the brand’s new 10-day power reserve movement. A bit caricatural in the execution, but that’s also why Hublot is Hublot. The new?Hublot Big Bang Meca-10 is based on the traditional Big Bang case – so the point
Affordable Proposition - Hands-on Review of the new Tissot PRS 516 Automatic Chronograph (live pics & price) - Monochrome-Watches
When it comes to owning a cool watch, easily recognizable and that will create enthusiasm for sure, a chronograph is always on the top of our buying guide. Chronographs are cool, they look usually sporty and more technical than the usual watch and they are useful (at least, that's what owners are trying to make you think). However, a chronograph is quite a complicated feature compared to a classical 3-hand watch, especially when it comes to mechanical timepieces - but we have a solution, an affordable chronograph with a nice racing-car inspiration and a strong & reliable mechanical content. Here is the 2015 Edition of the?Tissot PRS 516 Automatic Chronograph.Choosing a chronograph is like buying a 4-door sedan car. There are dozens of them available on the market, starting from 100 Euros quartz watches to top-range mechanical ones like the De Bethune DB29 MaxiChrono (priced over 150.000 Euros) – and we’re not even talking about those with added complications (QP, split-
