The L37184969 from the Conquest collection by Longines will become an ultimate favorite because of the bold blue color. It delivers top-class performance with an ultra-precise quartz movement, shock correction feature, smart crown, and calendar too. The dial is fashioned in plain, blue color with a concentric circular pattern and encased in sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The interior pairs up well with the luminous hands and indexes having a darkened border for easy reading. Having a blue, rubber strap gives it a vibrant appearance.

A. Lange & Sohne 1815 "Cuvette" Limited Edition (For the 10th Anniversary of the first Lange Boutique)
While the brand A. Lange & Sohne was revived in 1994 (with the launch of an entire collection, including the iconic Lange 1), the first brand boutique only opened in September 2007. This means that this Dresden-based store now celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, and in order to pay tribute to 10 years of presence in the superb city of Dresden, A. Lange & Sohne have introduced a limited edition of the emblematic 1815, with a specifically engraved hinged “Cuvette” – dust cover or officer back – to make it really special.Lange opened its first “proprietary” point of sale in September 2007, directly adjacent to the Dresden Frauenkirche, a landmark of the baroque city which was restored between 1994 and 2005. This impressive and handsome monument is thus the star of the show of this watch, as it is engraved on the caseback of the new 1815 limited edition. Indeed, a rare fact at Lange, is that the back (at least in the beginning) did not di
Introducing The Audemars Piguet Millenary Quadriennium - Monochrome Watches
Audemars Piguet improves the annual calendar, so it almost becomes a perpetual calendar. That might sound strange, but we’ll explain. This new calendar is now introduced in the?Audemars Piguet Millenary Quadriennium. Its name is latin for a quadrennium, which?is a four-year period. The watch also features the infamous AP escapement, so all-together a mighty interesting timepiece!?The Millenary has always been a bit of a an odd-shaped timepiece, often chosen by collector who’re perse drawn to a round case, and like the elegant oval shape, with beautiful alternating satin brushed and polished finishing, and stepped lugs. The Millenary always features an off centre dial, which was probably most notable on the magnificent Millenary Star Wheel that we reviewed extensively. The new Audemars Piguet Millenary Quadriennium has an off-centre dial for the hours, minutes, date, month and day of the week, and a small subsidiary dial for the running seconds. Ad - Scroll to con
First Look: The Elegantly Updated Chopard L.U.C Lunar One
The L.U.C Lunar One was Chopard's first calendar and astronomy complication. Unveiled in 2005, the model combines a perpetual calendar and a precision orbital moon phase display in a rotating aperture. Twenty years later, Chopard revisits its L.U.C Lunar One with a more compact basin-style case, a trimmer, more legible dial decorated with hand-guilloche in blue and salmon and a practical quick-release system for the strap. Still powered by the L.U.C 96.13-L calibre with a micro-rotor, the movement is chronometer-certified, and the Poin?on de Geneve hallmark attests to the high-quality finishings of the new Lunar One models. The evolution of the Chopard L.U.C Lunar One over the years.More Compact & Reshaped CaseIn keeping with the L.U.C family's penchant for discreet luxury and refined proportions, many fans of the Lunar One will be delighted to learn that the 43mm diameter case of the original has been reduced to a more compact 40.5mm. The thickness, however, has increased slightly
Outsiders Look Inside SIHH Week - Monochrome Watches
Sometimes we at Monochrome get help, unasked and unexpectedly, and highly appreciated. Kal, a Genevan based watch lover, has supported us for a long time through Twitter. I hope many of you will support us through social media, by re-tweeting like Kal does, liking on Facebook or sharing our photos at Pinterest.?Kal not only supported us through Twitter, he also told us that he would love to share his SIHH experiences with all of you. The story perfectly describes the SIHH as an outsider’s look inside. In my years of infatuation with watches, it is my first time inside the hive called SIHH. Very much like Baselworld, this is a trade event - in every day speak, if you ain't
Introducing The New Ulysse Nardin Freak One (Live Pics & Price)
The Freak, the brainchild of the late Ulysse Nardin owner Rolf Schnyder and genius watchmaker Ludwig Oechslin, has been with us for 22 years. The first Freak was packed with innovative ideas that would transform the conservative ways of watchmaking, changing perceptions. Since 2001 the watch with no crown to wind and time set, no conventional hands to point hours and minutes and no dial per common designation have appeared in several variants, yet looking at the timeline, many would agree that the new 2023 edition, the Freak ONE, could be the prettiest. The new Ulysse Nardin Freak ONE celebrates the previous, with many features popping up with just a glance. Still, it is a tribute to the first Ulysse Nardin Freak, highlighting the avant-garde design and technology of one of the most forward-thinking creations of this century so far.
