Longines' Record 38.5mm L28204722 remains rugged and long-lasting, despite the chic look due to the cleverly put intricate design because of the presence of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, with several layers of anti-reflective coating on the underside. Another plus point of the timepiece comes with the transparent case back, which is surprisingly of sapphire crystal glass. The self-winding automatic mechanical timepiece comes with triple safety folding clasp and push-piece opening mechanism, and a power reserve of approximately 64 hours.

In-Depth: The New Bulgari Octo Roma Grande Sonnerie Tourbillon
The grande sonnerie is one of the most intricate mechanisms in watchmaking. Its creation requires the utmost technical expertise as hundreds of components are required to interact simultaneously and strike time indications perfectly. Bulgari has a rich tradition of crafting striking watches, having already produced grande and petite sonnerie watches.?This expertise first originated from the acquisition of Gerald Genta and Daniel Roth in 2000. But Bulgari is committed to keeping this craft alive and evolving as demonstrated by the new Octo Roma Grande Sonnerie Tourbillon with its modernised design, chime and movement. The Exclusive Grande Sonnerie ClubIf Gerald Genta’s Grande Sonnerie was presented in 1994, the credit for creating the first Grande Sonnerie wristwatch goes to Philippe Dufour, who introduced his in 1992. Among the few other prestigious names who have produced Grande Sonnerie wristwatches are Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Greu
First Look: The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Bronze Gold and Burgundy
The long-awaited No-Date Seamaster Diver 300M… Teased during the summer, finally released in steel versions in late 2024. Deeply inspired by the No Time to Die edition once worn on screen by 007, this new sub-collection within the SM300 range got the vintage touch in addition to being free of its date window, domed sapphire crystal, aluminium dial and bezel, and some with a mesh bracelet. The design proved to be a success in steel, only to be confirmed by the Titanium and Bronze Gold edition with green accents a few weeks later. The story continues today with yet another version, this time crafted entirely in Bronze Gold and paired with a burgundy-toned bezel.?As with the recent steel versions and the titanium/bronze gold models, these new early-2025 versions are inspired by the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, which was launched in 2020 for the James Bond film No Time to Die. What made this watch special, besides its connection with the world’s famous British secret agent
The 2020 Santos de Cartier ADLC Black (Specs & Price)
Cartier enlarges its successful Santos collection with two time-and-date models clad in steel and black ADLC. The most contemporary proposal in this family of watches of late, the use of black ADLC and sleek matte finishes conspire to give the watch an emphatically masculine presence. Let’s have a closer look at these stealth Santos watches.Santos de CartierNot to be confused with the Santos-Dumont line-up of slimmer, flatter and more elegant models inspired by the historic 1904 original, the Santos de Cartier novelties belong to the refreshed 2018 family. You can read all about the new design tenets on the Santos introduced in 2018 in Brice's coverage here. Burlier, sportier and more contemporary, a watch that could almost be a member of the luxury sports watch category, the Santos de Cartier is composed of three-hand (Medium), time-and-date (Large) and chronograph models (XL) along with some skeletonised versions. The latest arrivals are available exclusively in the large case
First Look: The Hublot Big Bang Unico In Mint Green And Petrol Blue Ceramic
Turning twenty this year, Hublot‘s Big Bang exploded on the watch scene with its bold fusion of state-of-the-materials and extroverted design. Hublot's first in-house flyback chronograph movement, the Unico, materialised in 2010 and was deployed inside the specially designed Big Bang Unico, with its mechanism visible on the dial. As a brand that has played with materials since day one, the Big Bang Unico has appeared in various materials and wildly colourful ceramic cases. For 2025, Hublot proposes Mint Green and Petrol Blue ceramic colours for its 42mm Big Bang Unico.Hublot has no qualms when it comes to using unconventional materials, like the recycled Nespresso capsules?or the tennis racquets and Lacoste shirts fused to create a featherlight Big Bang Unico in honour of Novak Djokovic. While ceramic cases are prevalent in the watch world, Hublot began experimenting with ceramic bezels in 2005 and produced a startling red ceramic case in 2019, followed by a yellow one in 2021, c
Hublot Black Ceramic Classic Fusion Extra Thin - Monochrome Watches
Last year, we saw something out of the ordinary from Hublot. An?extra-thin Classic Fusion?with a skeletonized dial that even stalwarts of the brand didn’t see coming. This year they up the ante even more with one simple addition, something that was missing from last year’s model, a black ceramic case. A nice looking addition to the titanium and rose gold versions that were introduced last year. Ad - Scroll to continue with article Hublot has been gaining ranks in the horological world since its inception simply due to its massive wrist presence of their slightly oversize watches. Needless to say, the trend for oversize watches may be short lived, but slimming it down is a step on the right direction for the pursuit of classicality while retaining the dynamic and modern codes that is Hublot.Last year’s model was a great step towards thinner in-h
