The Elegant Series of Longines is back with another amazing timepiece. This model features a stainless steel case of diameter 39mm. The sunray blue dial with diamonds set as index hour markers and silver polished hands speak of the devotion given to the design of the watch. Water-resistance in this watch is for up to 3 bar. It shows the date at the 3 o'clock position. It's a very good example of a simple yet.

Introducing IWC Portofino Chronograph 39 Laureus IW391408 (Price)
For many fans of IWC Schaffhausen, size – big size – is an important issue, so it’s not surprising that the XXL 46mm Big Pilot is considered one of the brand’s flagship models. Realising that not everybody can pull off a 46mm wristwatch, IWC decided to offer the Big Pilot in a smaller 43mm case size last year. In a similar move, IWC revisited its vintage-inspired Portofino Chronograph in 2021, offering a new 39mm diameter. One of IWC’s dressier collections, the Portofino is named after the picturesque Italian fishing village on the Amalfi coast frequented by jet-setters. Space exploration is a recurring topic when it comes to watches. Of course, the Omega Speedmaster a.k.a. Moonwatch is the reference when it comes to space-linked timepieces, however, it’s not the only watch that made it to space. Recently, we discovered that another watch had been launched via a resupply mission to the ISS, a custom-made pilot's watch, by Dave Sutton, worn on a Marine Nationale strap by our good friend Erika (from ErikasOriginals).
