The dial itself features a date aperture at the six-hour mark and is topped with an exquisite sapphire crystal that adds durability to the overall design.

Pre Baselworld 2014: Introducing the Ulysse Nardin Dual Time Manufacture with In-House Movement - Monochrome Watches
For many years Ulysse Nardin have been making one of the most convenient dual time zone watches in the market. Typically one of Ludwig Oechslin’s inventions, which makes it possible to adjust the second time zone and DATE both forward and backward! During Baselworld 2014 Ulysse Nardin will launch the newest version featuring their in-house movement: the Dual Time Manufacture. Earlier Ulysse Nardin already equipped the Marine collection with the new in-house movement, that utilizes silicon for both the escapement (anchor, escape wheel and roller) and hairspring. Caliber UN-334 beats at a steady pace of 4 Hz (28,800 vph) and has a power reserve of 48 hours. This movement has been developed and manufactured entirely in-house.
