Here is another masterpiece piece from Longines. This L27394713 is from their Master Collection. It comes with a stainless steel case of diameter 44mm. Its silver barleycorn textured dial with blue hands and Roman numeral hour markers is quite a unique combination to own. With another uniqueness of style date display in this timepiece is centered on the 3 o'clock position, day of the week display centered on the 12 o'clock position and the 24-hour display is centered at the 9 o'clock position. The dial is truly equipped with loads of other features such as the Moon phase display is near the center of the dial. Get even more mesmerized as it indicates day and night as well! Day/night indicator is located at 12 o'clock. With these many features, it's a must own.

In an article published yesterday by French business magazine Challenges (see the article here, in French), it seems that the Watchmaking Division of LVMH (TAG Heuer, Hublot, Zenith) is about to be reshuffled. The article mentions (without sources or quotes) two important appointments: Frederic Arnault, the 23-year-old son of Bernard Arnault (CEO of LVMH), gets a new position at TAG?Heuer and?Stephane Bianchi is appointed as the head of the?Watchmaking Division.?First, it appears that a young man, Frederic Arnault, Bernard’s penultimate son (aged 23), takes on a much more important position at TAG Heuer. Already appointed Head of Connected Watches at TAG in July 2017, he will now be the Head of Strategy and Digital of the brand. Another interesting day at Baselworld… and besides several meetings and running into some of the very best watchmakers on planet earth during a book-signing, it was also time to finally get my new MIH Watch!Today the book 12 Faces of Time was officially released with a book-signing. Elizabeth Doerr, writer, and Ralf Baumgarten, photographer, really did an excellent job. Not only is the book great, later more about that, the book-signing was one of the most interesting events during the Baselworld fair. At least for me as an admirer of independent watchmakers.12 Faces of Time is actually a piece of art about the art of watchmaking. It’s very stylish, designed beautifully and Ralf Baumgarten’s photography perfectly suit the style of the interviews.
