Luxury Watches |
Longines' Master Collection has some of the finest timepieces. The L29094783 is a great example of this. It has a silver dial with Arabic numerals painted on it. The hands of the watch are made from blue steel and provide a stark contrast against the silver dial. The 6 o'clock mark features a subdial that displays the date and the moon phase. The strap of the watch is quite elegant and is made from brown patterned leather.

Hands-On Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Diamonds 15210OR
Audemars Piguet's Code 11.59 collection was unveiled in 2019 and marked the brand’s first important product launch in 20 years. Comprised of six models, 13 references, and three of in-house calibres, its distinctive 41mm case design was, as the brand pointed out, consciously thought for both men and women. Presented in January 2022, these two gem-set models blanketed with more than 1,000 brilliant-cut diamonds on the case are clearly earmarked for women and marked a first for the Code 11.59 collection.Diamond paved gold cases and dialsThe complex architecture of the 41mm case, with its octagonal middle case sandwiched between a thin bezel and round caseback, sparkles with the light of 473 brilliant-cut diamonds (~2.69 carats). The most salient feature of the case is the octagonal central container that pays homage to the iconic octagonal bezel of the Royal Oak. Viewed from the side, you can how the floating lugs are hollowed and welded to the bezel module. Every surface is paved
Hands-On IWC Portugieser Chronograph Blue Panda IW371620
If there’s one watch that can be called a classic at IWC, it has to be the Portugieser Chronograph. One of the earliest models to be launched after the rebirth of the range, it succeeded the Portugieser Rattrapante with a simpler movement but almost identical design. And since its launch in 1998, with the exception of minimal design evolutions and a new movement, it hasn’t changed a bit – and for the best. Recently, however, IWC presented a new duo of Portugieser watches with Panda blue dials. And now that we’ve managed to see it in the metal, I can tell you that there’s a lot to love in what appeared at first as a negligible upgrade.?Let’s start with a brief historical reminder. The original IWC Portugieser was born in the 1930s, following the request of two Portuguese merchants (named Rodrigues and Teixeira), who wanted the precision of IWC’s deck clocks in wristwatch format for sailing. But that’s not what really matters here. The othe
Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Ceramic-and-Titanium 210.92.44.20.01.001 (Specs & Price)
Last year, Omega took a deep breath and plunged into one of its most iconic collections, the Seamaster Diver 300M – a 25-year-old icon, worn by none other than 007 himself (hence its nickname, the “James Bond Watch“) positioned as the entry-level watch to Omega’s divers. The 2018 model was an instant hit, which offered great value for the money and superb mechanics/construction. As a preview of the 2019 collection, Omega introduces a stealth version in black ceramic and titanium – but be sure to read the rest of the article, as it has more than just new materials to show. This new?Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Ceramic-and-Titanium appears, at first, just a new combination of materials – both dear to the brand, which has been playing with ceramic a lot these past few years (think Speedy DSOTM or Seamaster PO Deep Black). Thus, indeed, the new SM300 is bringing a new dark style and some materials that we haven’t seen before on this model. This would
RGM Model 600 Chronograph for Pilots (Specs & Price)
RGM Watch Co. is the brand that brought legitimate watchmaking back to America, creating ground-up, in-house movements such as the tonneau-shaped Caliber 20, 801 Calibre and Pennsylvania Tourbillon. Other brands such as J.N. Shapiro and Weiss Watch Company have since produced American calibres, but CEO Roland Murphy started the revival in 1992, creating the company in Pennsylvania that bears his initials. Not all RGM watches have in-house calibres as some carry ETA automatics, allowing for more affordable entries in his portfolio. The latest model falls into this category, the RGM Model 600 Chronograph that sports an ETA/Valjoux 7753. It's a retro, military-style chronograph that fits in well with the brand's other pilot collections. This isn't RGM's first chronograph and the current Model 455 Classic Chronograph carries a similar price with a Valjoux 7750 automatic. Those models are throwbacks to the 1940s, while the new Model 600 Chronograph is modelled after military pilots watches f
