Hands-On: The Angelus x Massena LAB Chronographe Medical With Stunning Movement
While Angelus is part of the well-respected independent watchmakers around, and a brand with a very rich history, it took a modern and bold direction when it was revived a few years ago next to sister-company Arnold & Son. It’s a deliberate choice, but some fans of the name Angelus and of its superb vintage chronographs were slightly puzzled. Well, things are changing, with the return of classic chronographs and traditional hand-wound movements. And to inaugurate this new collection named La Fabrique, the brand has teamed up with design studio Massena LAB, who has created a re-edition of a stunning vintage doctor’s watch, which is now powered by an internally-produced movement (and what a movement indeed…) Let’s have a closer look at the new Angelus x Massena LAB Chronographe Medical. If you look at the current collection of Angelus, it surely doesn’t reflect what the brand has done in the past. There was a choice not to create vintage re-editions, but
The TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer 01 Aston Martin - Monochrome Watches
Last week, at the Geneva International Motor Show (where TAG also announced the Monaco Gulf Special Edition), Jean-Claude Biver (CEO of TAG Heuer and President of the LVMH Group Watches Division) and Andy Palmer (President and CEO of Aston Martin) announced that TAG Heuer has been chosen as Official Partner, Official Watch Partner and Official Connected Watch Partner of Aston Martin and Aston Martin Racing. In fact, it almost looks like Jack Heuer invented sponsoring racing, race drivers and even an Italian sports car brand. Nowadays?the collaborations and partnerships between a watch brand and a car brand, or even the entire F1 organization ( teamed up with them),?seems to be a proven concept. IWC collabo
TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf Special Edition Calibre Heuer 02
One of the new models launched during Watches & Wonders Geneva 2022 is a watch that is a true blend of emblematic features. Not only is it one of the most iconic models in the history of TAG Heuer, with a connection to motorsports and one of the most legendary cars ever, but its colour scheme will immediately talk to all petrolheads. Today, TAG Heuer brings back the Monaco in Gulf livery. And to make it even better, the watch that used to be powered by an outsourced movement has been replaced by an in-house-powered model. Here’s the fantastic new TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf Special Edition Calibre Heuer 02… but with one minor complaint that I’ll mention later.?It might not be the place to review the entire story of the emblematic Heuer Monaco Calibre 11 and all its derivates here, but if you want to know more, you can watch this in-depth video that will explain everything. What’s more interesting is this: the link between Heuer (not yet TAG at that time) and Gulf,
