Mido's Ocean Star Captain collection displays an array of unique timepieces that satisfy the taste of ocean lovers and deep-sea divers. This watch portrays similar features - the efficient water-resistance, Super LumiNova index markers, and an extra-protective crown maximize the reliability of this watch underwater. It doesn't compromise on style either because the rich blue dial pairs beautifully to enhance the silver-toned casing. Automatic movements and an 80-hour power reserve make this watch suitable sportswear.

Hands-On: The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m with Gradient Turquoise Dials
Very surreptitiously, Omega released a pair of Aqua Terra models just before Christmas that really caught our eye. As Omega's everyday all-rounder capable of tackling most environments and still look classy, the new turquoise models are descendants of the more colourful and dressier Aqua Terra 150m Shades sub-collection – no texture on the dial, fully polished cases. Standing out with their attractive turquoise gradient dials, the newcomers feature a reworked bracelet with the long-awaited micro-adjustment and come in two case sizes. We've had a chance to spend some time with these good-looking models, and this is what we found. The collection’s name, Seamaster Aqua Terra, points to its all-terrain capabilities. Although it is not touted as a professional dive watch, the Aqua Terra offers the best of both worlds with its more than respectable 150m water resistance (aqua) combined with classic good looks and a precision movement to take you from the office and beyond in style
Finding your new watch - Monochrome Watches
Sometimes a watch really grasps your attention and doesn’t let go. What is it that sets this watch apart from the rest? Is it the looks or maybe the brand’s name and fame appeals to you? Or did your father or favourite movie star had a watch that made a deep impression? Or maybe it is mainly about the technical aspects?Since the reason will be different for everyone and will probably even differ from watch to watch, I can only describe what made me want a watch from the Finnish watchmaker Sarpaneva. In my story at World Tempus I wrote about my decision to buy a special watch. But why this one and not any other watch. There are thousands of beautiful watches, so more than enough to choose from. One of my friends is crazy about a double straumann escapement, while i have just a vague idea of what makes this escapement differ from normal escapements. One of my other friends collects Cartier of the Collection Privee. And so do we all have a weak spot for something different. Fo

Yema Superman Skin Diver Limited Edition 41mm - Hands-On, Price
Founded in 1948, Yema is probably one of the most revered French watchmaking brands with a longstanding history of diver’s watches. One of its most renowned models is the Superman, the first large-scale model with 300m water-resistance, a practical bezel-lock device and a very distinctive design launched in 1963. Yema has produced many reissues of its 1960s and 1970s dive watches in its Heritage collection, but today it’s time to stage the comeback of its earliest model with the new Yema Superman Skin Diver Limited Edition.? A vintage example of the first-generation Yema Superman, circa-1963 – photo by leclubyema.comThe Yema Superman is probably one of the most iconic watches ever produced in France. It has gained impressive fame over the years, specifically in recent times, thanks to a large community of vintage watch enthusiasts. And the watch deserves it. While most dive watches produced from the mid-1950s to the early 1960s were intended for
2021 Panerai Luminor Marina eSteel PAM01157 PAM01356 PAM01358
The Luminor and its Marina variation need no introduction anymore. It might well be the most emblematic watch produced by the Officine, recognisable thanks to its cushion-shaped case, its Safety Lock crown protection and sandwich dial. It has been around for decades and has barely changed since. Although the burly design won’t shock anybody anymore, today some new references join the collection. Not really new models, but cased in what the brand calls “an innovative metal“. Here’s the new Panerai Luminor Marina eSteel Collection – PAM01157, PAM01356 and PAM01358.Sustainable strategies and eco-friendliness are, for good reasons, becoming a normal thing in all industries. Cars are becoming electric, and clothes are more and more being produced from recycled materials. This trend has even started to invade the watchmaking industry with multiple initiatives related to the conservation of the oceans, or parts of watches – mostly straps and packaging ̵
