The Nomos Glash¨¹tte 1103 is a Metro 38 Date Urban Gray Manual-winding Green Dial 38.5mm Men's Watch collection design. This watch, designed by Mark Braun, is a true success story; no other NOMOS model has won so many awards or become a bestseller in such a short space of time. The dark-colored dial of this larger version with a date is the perfect complement to both the white and mint green indexes and the delicate hands. Also at work here is an exquisite hand-wound caliber featuring the NOMOS swing system. The case of this watch is finely made in steel to provide the amount of perfection it takes to create an ideal framework. The domed sapphire crystal finish in the watch glass makes it scratch free. The watch has a 42-hour reserve, and a Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan black band, with quick-change spring bars lug width 19 mm.

Hands-On Chopard L.U.C Full Strike Tourbillon (Specs & Price)
To celebrate the Chopard manufacture's 20th anniversary in 2016, the brand made its first foray into the complex domain of minute repeaters. Determined not to produce just another' minute repeater, Chopard invested 15,000 hours in the lab surprised us all with its revolutionary use of sapphire crystal gongs that produce a unique crystalline sound. With its bold openworked dial exposing parts of the movement and the hammers, and its user-friendly crown-operated functionality, the L.U.C Full Strike took home the top Aiguille d'Or prize at the GPGH 2017. Today, and in light of the L.U.C collection's 25th anniversary, Chopard ups the ante with this 18k ethical rose gold Full Strike model with a tourbillon secured by a transparent sapphire bridge on the dial. A new complication requires a new movement and the L.U.C Full Strike Tourbillon flaunts a new chronometer-certified calibre. For the first time in the trajectory of the L.U.C Full Strike, the dial is almost closed, relegating the two o
2022 IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph 43 Manufacture Calibre
For many years, the classic Pilot’s Chronograph of IWC has been this very watch, the reference IW377709. This streamlined yet large 43mm watch has long been powered by a modified Valjoux 7750 movement and has been basically the entry-level option for anyone wanting a pilot’s chrono from the brand, with the emblematic design. Last year, IWC Schaffhausen brought something new, slightly more compact and powered by a more advanced proprietary movement, the Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41. Taking the exact same recipe, the brand now discreetly updates the larger model, by launching the new IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 43 references IW378001, IW378003 and IW378005.?Let’s make it honest from the beginning. What we’re looking at today is a very subtle evolution, at least visually speaking. Just like last week and the introduction of the new Pilot’s Watch Mark XX collection, we’re talking about small design updates, evolutions on the case and strap system
Buying Guide - 6 recently revived brands and watches
One of the most popular categories of watches in recent years is the revival watch. Bringing back a historic model and paying tribute in a very faithful manner can result in truly cool watches. And it’s not something done only by mainstream manufacturers like Longines or Tissot, but also by smaller, lesser-known manufacturers. And it becomes even better if a re-edition of a watch comes in the form of a completely revived brand. We all know the quartz-crises wreaked havoc in the watch industry in the 1970s and 1980s, causing many brands to go defunct or dormant, including some of the names listed today. But with the rise of the revival watch, some of these names have made a glorious return. With that in mind, lets take a look at 6 of the coolest revived names and watches.Aquastar Deepstar 39First up is Aquastar, a brand that originated in the early 1960s and was revived a couple of years ago. Aquastar was initially relaunched with the Deepstar Chronograph, a chunky diving watch of
Anti-Magnetic To The Max - The 160,000 Gauss Resistant Omega Watch
Recently, in a long documentary, we went through?the ins-and-outs of anti-magnetism in?watchmaking, illustrated by the brand that simply masters this concept, Omega, and their hyper-strict testing and certification procedure, the Master Chronometer. You thought that the 15,000 Gauss resistance of these watches was already impressive… Wait for this: Omega actually tested a watch, a prototype of a Seamaster Aqua Terra,?to the insane magnetic field of 160,000 Gauss. And believe it or not, it survided and it is now exposed at the Omega Museum, as part of the area of anti-magnetic watchmaking. As of now, Omega has mainly advertised on the 15,000 Gauss resistance of their Master Chronometer watches, an already extremely impressive resistance that is achieved not by making the case antimagnetic but by having developed an entire movement that can’t be affected by these impressive magnetic fields. This movement is named the Master Chronometer and it requires its own testing procedure
First Look: Raymond Weil Millesime Chronograph Limited Edition Largo Winch
Pop culture icons are increasingly in vogue and luxury watch brands have been surfing the wave of comic?or cartoon-themed timepieces.?Raymond Weil is the latest brand to join this trend with a limited edition inspired by Largo Winch, the gentleman-adventurer created by Belgian cartoonist Philippe Francq. Yet instead of featuring the iconic character on a dial of one of its watches – as is often the case with such collabs – the brand has opted for a different approach, personalising its stylish Millesime Chronograph with Dollar green hues and a custom illustration on the case back. This Raymond Weil Largo Winch Limited Edition is a variation of the Millesime Automatic Chronograph. Like the other models in this collection, it offers an elegant, understated and retro-inspired design – perfectly capturing the lifestyle and allure of the playboy-businessman-gentleman-adventurer, Largo Winch. Rather than leaning on bold branding/collab elements, Raymond Weil has opted for a
