Luxury Watches |
Bound to last for a very long time, the 172 is surely one-of-a-kind casual watch. A feature that is particularly appealing is the dial which is plated in white-silver. Beautifully complemented by a high-quality black Cordovan leather strap, the model is sturdy as well as long-lasting. The dial is covered with a protective layer of sapphire crystal. This watch is definitely a good choice when it comes to shopping for must-have accessories.

A. Lange & Sohne Saxonia Thin Black Gold Flux - Review, Price
Sparkles might pose a problem to gentlemen when it comes to watches. Luckily, in watchmaking, there are sparkles, and then there are sparkles. Unlike the flashy radiant light emitted by a gargantuan diamond on a Jacob & Co. watch, for example, the sparkling dial of the Saxonia Thin emits a gentle, refined shimmer produced by the black aventurine glass covering the dial. The very essence of a dress watch, the Saxonia Thin Black Gold Flux, is the black-tie version of this refined family and made its gallant debut last December 2020.Looking at this watch is like lying down in a remote field – miles from any source of light pollution – and looking up at the night sky. It is simply magical, a sliver of our beautiful cosmos encapsulated on your wrist. Ad - Scroll to continue with article A dressy dress watchThe Saxonia Thin is A. Lange & Sohne's sl
Industry News: Richemont Reports Stable Sales For Q1 2024, Results Down for Watches
Following the announcement yesterday of decreasing sales for the Swatch Group, particularly impacted by the industry's challenging situation in China and South East Asia, it is time today for one of its main competitors, Richemont Group, to announce its sales for the first quarter ended 30 June 2024. Contrary to expectations, global sales are to be seen as stable despite uncertainties, with sales up 1% at constant exchange rates. The owner of Cartier and watchmakers such as Lange, IWC, Vacheron or Jaeger however reports contrasted results depending on the regions and business areas, with a difficult situation for the Specialist Watchmakers.?Looking at the large picture, the Richemont Group seems to resist the current macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainties, with sales up 1% at constant exchange rates compared to the same period in 2023 – April 1st to June 30th. The Group reports sales at EUR 5,268 million for Q1 2024 versus EUR 5,322 million for Q1 2023, a decrease of 1% due
Breitling Navitimer Ref 806 1959 Re?Edition (Specs & Price)
Everyone knows the Breitling Navitimer. Like, literally everyone. That's because it has one of the most recognisable dial/bezel configurations in the business. That doesn't mean it's the easiest to read but it definitely stands out in a crowd. Launched in 1952, this legendary watch - designed specifically for pilots - has seen many, many variations over the years. Some admittedly better than others. The watch we're looking at today, however, is not so much a variation as it is a recreation. And one that is incredibly faithful to the original. This is the Breitling Navitimer Ref. 806 1959 Re?Edition, one of the coolest vintage-inspired watches we've seen from any brand in the last few years.?It's no secret that vintage watches are a hot commodity at the moment. Collectors and investors' - such a dirty word in the watch business - alike are shelling out big bucks for sought-after models. In turn, this has prompted industry executives to try and capitalise on the trend by creating vintage
Introducing the Calibre de Cartier Diver with Manufacture Caliber 1904MC - Monochrome Watches
Cartier has just unveiled their very first dive watch! OK some of you might argue Cartier already have a “dive watch” in their collection, the Pasha. However the Pasha is not a true dive watch, and certainly not by today’s standards. The new Calibre de Cartier Diver, which will officially be introduced at the SIHH 2014, will be Cartier’s first real dive watch! The new Diver is based on the Calibre de Cartier, which was introduced in 2010. This was also the first Cartier to feature the new in-house movement caliber 1904 MC, which is the same movement they use in the new Calibre de Cartier Diver. A robust movement, with two main spring barrels, delivering 48 hours of power reserve. You might think that's not much for two main spring barrels, however this was done intentionally to get as little fluctuation in the main spring torque as possible, so the chronometric rates are as stable as possible. In laymen language it's a very good movement! Ad - Scroll t

As already reported with the Qatar Watch Club in recent years, there are more and more groups of watchmaking enthusiasts flourishing around the world, specifically in countries where horological culture is slightly more recent than in our old continent. These local initiatives to encourage collecting are a great way to generate passion and increase horological knowledge among their members. To create a community feeling, these groups often create watches dedicated to their members. The latest in line is the Emirates Watch Club (here on Instagram), a group of collectors in the United Arab Emirates, which has just unveiled a watch with a stunning dial, the Moritz Grossmann Benu Emirates Watch Club.Moritz Grossmann is one of the top German watchmakers, a proper manufacture with traditional execution and watches with a historic feel, not only in the design but also in some of the technical solutions used for the movements – such as the impressive hammer-like self-winding mechanism of
