We all know the watchmaking industry is spread far and wide, and you can find pretty much whatever you can think of. And on the top end of the spectrum is where you will find some of the most complex pieces imaginable. Watches that get us all excited, and a true spectacle to behold. IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Edition Expedition Jacques-Yves Cousteau - REVIEW with exclusive photos, specs and price - Monochrome Watches
This year IWC introduced an entirely renewed Aquatimer collection. That literary means that ALL Aquatimer models have been redesigned and now feature the same design cues, and, more importantly, functional feats like the new Dive-Safe system; an externally operational internal dive-time bezel (still with us?) We tried the IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Edition ?Expedition Jacques-Yves Cousteau for some weeks for this review and liked it more and more during the test period. The IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Edition Expedition Jacques-Yves Cousteau (a mouthful) is a special edition, based on the Aquatimer Chronograph. It features a?recognizable blue dial that previous ?Expedition Jacques-Yves Cousteau also had. It commemorates Cousteau's fantastic voyages and films that made millions aware of the beauty of the underwater world. His movies educated people around the world, about the underwater world, in times that most people didn’t have a clue about what was going on under that blue surfac
Video Review: The New Oris Aquis Date Compared to the Old Model
Evolution, not revolution. It’s a well-known strategy that has been applied by so many brands, and not just in the watch industry. The idea of gradually updating/upgrading your most emblematic product without drastically changing it is at the heart of the success of icons such as the Porsche 911, the iPhone, the Nike Air Max and, of course, watches such as the Submariner or the Speedmaster. What’s new? What has changed? What has been kept? We have a closer look at this in our latest video review and in this article.?What has changed in a nutshellBecause the differences between the new Oris Aquis Date and the old model are visually hard to spot for a non-trained eye, here’s a quick summary of what to expect with the 2024 collection, before we move to

Review Tudor Black Bay Pro GMT 79470 (Live Pics, Specs & Price)
Since the introduction of two important watches within the Tudor collection, namely the Black Bay GMT and the Black Bay Fifty-Eight, the watch community has been asking for a mix of the two concepts. Basically, a Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight GMT. Tudor responded but decided to spice things up a little bit. And the result is this watch, the Tudor Black Bay Pro. Yes, it’s 39mm like the BB58. And yes, it has a GMT function, like the BB Pepsi. But no, it’s not just a simple blend of these two. The BB Pro is fairly different, pretty cool and very much a tool watch that can do it all. And, at least to me, it really is one of the best instrument watches I’ve seen this year. But being a fan of the Explorer II (older models, of course, not the huge modern versions), this watch somehow speaks to me. Even though we’ll see, it isn’t perfect either.?If I had to sum it up, the new Tudor Black Bay Pro is the perfect adventure watch. It’s robust and legible; it featu
