This is another sturdy looking design perfect for all the gents out there, who love to practice their sports in style. The silver drowned dial has a polished finish with a white dial. The dial, itself, has silver rectangular bars as markers and roman digits are engraved outside of the dial, making the time easy to read. The wristwatch features a mother of pearl dial protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

Hands-on - The brutally honest Laco Kiel.2 Chronograph
Despite the fact that mechanical watches today are very much a luxury item and far from a necessity, there was a time when proper timing instrument watches were the difference between life and death. Watches served a true purpose and were used to time extremely important events. This need for precision also arose with the threat of war building in Europe in the 1930s, which lead to the creation of the Beobachtungsuhr, or B-Uhr. These watches became legendary for various reasons, and today, most Flieger watches take after these original timepieces. Some of the brands which produced B-Uhr watches back then still do that today, to an extent. One such brand is Laco, which has been around since 1925. And Laco recently presented the brutally honest, no-nonsense Kiel.2 Chronograph that takes after the historic design of the Flieger Uhr.A brief history of lacoThe German watchmaking brand of Laco was originally founded in 1925 as Lacher & Co. by Frieda Lacher and Ludwig Hummel. OMEGA Speedmaster Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Steel 310.20.42.50.01.001 (Specs & Price)
Earlier this year, Omega introduced a new limited edition of the Speedmaster… but not any kind of edition, since this year marks the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing and thus, the 50th anniversary of a Speedmaster worn on the wrist of astronauts while walking on the Moon! And while we thought this Moonshine Gold version was the end of the story, we were wrong. So… Say hello to the OMEGA Speedmaster Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Limited Edition, in STEEL!In March 2019, Omega presented a (very appealing) limited edition of the Speedmaster to mark the half-century anniversary of the Moonwatch's Lunar landing, with the Moonshine Gold and burgundy Speedy 310.60.42.50.99.001, a watch available in just 1,014 pieces and priced at CHF 32,000 (excl. VAT)… Price apart, the watch was inspired by the vintage reference BA145.022 produced from 1969 to 1973, easily recognizable thanks to its full yellow case/bracelet/dial and its burgundy bezel. The Moonshine gold Omega Speedmaster A
Cartier's superb design - Monochrome Watches
This morning i read a post about Cartier and i just want to share it. I was blown away by the Cartier’s respect for their own design heritage. I’ve yet to see another brand that is so consistent in their design throughout several product lines… and it’s done with a lot of attention for detail. The photo shows the Cartier Tortue Mono-poussoir with matching Tortue belt buckle and the classic Three-knots cufflinks. The post about Cartier’s watch, belt buckle and cufflink design was posted at the Cartier forum of watch forum PuristS Pro.
Hands-On - The Ulysse Nardin Diver X Skeleton Black Carbonium (Price)
Although skeletonised watches and dive watches seem to be poles apart, Ulysse Nardin fuses these unlikely bedfellows by borrowing features from two collections. The result is an eye-catching study in technical skeletonisation with a robust, sporty presence capable of fathoming depths of 200 metres. To celebrate UN's partnership with retailer Seddiqi, visitors to the Dubai Watch Week were given a sneak preview of just ten models of the Ulysse Nardin Diver X Skeleton. However, today marks the official launch of the radically skeletonised dive watch attired in a bold and contemporary combination of materials and colours. ?Proving that skeletonisation and resilience can go hand in hand, the Diver X Skeleton fuses elements from the sporty Diver with the technical prowess of the Blast Skeleton? – a family of watches distinguished by the large X guarding the skeletonised mechanics on most models. The result, which first surfaced in 2021, is the blue and orange Diver X Skeleton reviewed
First Look: The new Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 40mm in Rose Gold PVD
60 different references… This is how wide Tissot’s best-selling collection, the sporty-elegant integrated PRX watch, has become in about 4 years. Ranging from compact and affordable quartz models to more expensive watches with gold fluted bezels and chronograph movement, and basically everything you can imagine in between (even a forged carbon edition), you’d think the PRX collection is soon to come full circle. Well, the brand is here to prove you wrong as it’s just released a new, luxurious-looking, but accessibly-priced version of the classic PRX Powermatic 80 40mm, now coated with rose gold PVD, paired with a waffle-style blue dial. Quite a cool combo, in all fairness.?At this point in the lifecycle of the Tissot PRX, I believe that it isn’t necessary to remind you what we’re talking about… The PRX is the brand’s take on the integrated sports watch category, inspired by a 1978 model, modernized to current tastes and accessible enough
