Beauty at its peak, the sun-brushed blue dial of this watch is accentuated three bluish hour track. The same color scheme is followed for the blue leather strap as well. The silver outer body of the dial and the twelve rectangular bars on the dial clash beautifully; the outer rim of the dial houses minute markers. A small aperture can be seen at the right side of the dial for keeping track of the date. The dial is protected by the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass; with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.

Video A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Thin Honeygold
Today we have another review of a supremely elegant and refined watch by German watchmaker A. Lange & Sohne. And it is a rather special model that we have here, a highly understated watch, which comprises the very essence of Lange. While we have already video reviewed the most complex watch introduced for the 175th anniversary of watchmaking in Glashutte, the impressive Tourbograph Perpetual, it is now time to look at this deceptively simple two-hand watch, the A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Thin Honeygold. And although it looks minimalistic, it hides many surprises, as you’ll discover in the video above.?This 1815 Thin is part of the trilogy of timepieces released to celebrate the 175th anniversary of watchmaking in Glashutte. Indeed, in 1845, Ferdinand Adolph Lange inaugurated a manufacture in the town of Glashutte, which would become the centre of precision watchmaking in Germany. This was a true entrepreneurial project that gave birth to countless other brands, and of course,
Introducing the Richard Mille RM 69 Erotic Tourbillon - Monochrome-Watches
Erotic watches… A long standing tradition in watchmaking. We have showed you a few, like for instance this one. Usually, this kind of timepieces tends to show automatons depicting an erotic scene (like a couple in action…). Richard Mille is now coming with his own vision of such a watch, however with the typical modern, technical and extremely complicated style of the manufacture. No suggestive scene here but something more likely to enliven your evenings… Here is the Richard Mille RM 69 Erotic Tourbillon that brings sensuality with words only.<pAs said, erotic watches are part and parcel of the watchmaking tradition. For decades, watchmakers played with the theme of libertinism by mechanically recreating suggestive scenes. However, due to conservative moral, religious and political customs, they tend to be difficult objects to wear on a daily basis (and frankly, these are watches that you have to be fully assumed). That's why many of them depicted these scenes on
VIDEO - The Seamaster Chronicles - Part 3, A Technical Perspective on the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M
Today is the third and last instalment in our series of videos entitled “The?Seamaster Chronicles”. Following our two previous movies –?the first one focusing on the history of the legendary Seamaster, and the second one looking at how Omega managed to maintain the iconic status of this watch, even after 70 years of loyal service to sporty gents – it is now time to close the circle and take a look?at the technical aspects behind the Seamaster. To do so we will examine the latest model, the Seamaster Diver 300M, a.k.a the James Bond watch. As we’ve seen in this article, innovation and a pioneering spirit have always been part of the model and this isn’t about to change.Today, MONOCHROME offers you a guided tour to the installations where most Omega watches are created, tested and certified. We take a look inside the Biel-based, newly-opened Omega Manufacture and inside the METAS Lab – right where Master Chronometer watches are intensively inspec

This milestone automatic calibre with its formidable mechanics and svelte dimensions gave birth to a remarkable collection of watches. Thanks to their ultra-slim profiles, discreet, elegant styling and outstanding mechanical calibres, members of the distinguished L.U.C XPS family are turning up at the most glamorous events, including the Cannes Film Festival where an azure and a red guilloche dial were spotted on the red carpet. Hands-On - Oris x Momotaro Jeans Divers Sixty-Five (Specs & Price)
Introduced already five years ago just ahead of Baselworld, the Divers Sixty-Five has quickly become one of the most emblematic watches of Oris, existing in countless permanent, special or limited editions, in multiple materials and in several sizes. Surprisingly, Oris managed to make it consistent and most of the editions proved successful – remember the Bi-Co or the silver dial? The latest in the series is also one of the boldest and most fashion-oriented… Something that could have sounded scary but the result of this collaboration with cult Japanese jean maker, named the Oris x Momotaro Jeans Divers Sixty-Five, was quite cool indeed. And we have it live with us today.Based on the acclaimed ’65The story behind the Divers Sixty-Five is quite interesting. One of the members of the Oris team – a Dutch fellow who’s also a true watch enthusiast – was the owner of a small, quite unknown dive watch from the mid-1960s, a watch with a glossy black domed dia
