The Diver 300 m Omega Co-axial Master Chronometer 42 MM is another great watch from the Seamaster collection. It has a black rubber strap that can withstand all the weather conditions easily. The polished steel frame of the watch has a white ceramic dial with waves on it. The dial feels more textured with the date window near the bottom. Another impressive detail in it is the transparent case back, which watch collectors love.

Introducing The AP Royal Oak Jumbo 16202BC Blue/White Gold
Following the release last year of an updated Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin collection – the 16202ST, for the steel model – in the frame of the 50th anniversary of the brand’s iconic watch, Audemars Piguet is today releasing a new version that, visually, will feel familiar to fans of the model. If I say 14802PT…? Yes, this extremely rare version of the Royal Oak Jumbo Jubilee 20-year, made of platinum, in only 20 examples, with some of the examples featuring a grained blue Tuscan dial. Well, it’s somehow back, with the new Royal Oak Jumbo Ultra-Thin 16202BC, a boutique-exclusive white gold version with… a grained blue dial.?The inspiration, the 20th-anniversary Royal Oak Jumbo Jubilee 14802PT, in platinum with grained blue dial – image by Phillips WatchesLooking at the image of the 14802PT above, it is obvious where AP found the inspiration. The brand doesn’t hide its strategy with the new Jumbo 16202 collection, which pays tribute to histor
Introducing: The GemSet Chopard Alpine Eagle Summit 41mm Collection
Now in its sixth edition, Dubai Watch Week will be in the spotlight from 16-20 November as a stage for 60 participating watch brands to unveil their novelties. Chopard will introduce a gem-set solid gold version of its luxury sports watch, the Alpine Eagle, in four variations with different combinations of gradient-coloured stones set in the bezel. The Alpine Eagle luxury sports watch collection debuted in 2019, based on a sporty-chic Chopard model from the 1980s known as the St. Moritz. Buying Guide - The best GMT & travel watches of 2022
Whoever has experienced traversing the globe (by plane, train or automobile) while wearing a mechanical timepiece has at one point run into the drawbacks of regular time-only watches. It can tell the time in one location only, which is useless for identifying the time of day or night of your loved ones back home. Luckily, there are watches that offer a simple and practical solution: travel watches! These come in many variations and offer either a GMT function for a second time zone or a Worldtimer display where you can quickly identify the hour in multiple (and possibly all) time zones on earth. And as the year draws to a close, today’s Buying Guide homes in on some of the best travel watches presented in 2022!Longines Spirit Zulu TimeThe Spirit collection by Longines is home to some of the best watches the Winged Hourglass brand has to offer, and the Spirit Zulu Time reaffirms that very much. It’s quite a chunky watch, admittedly, but a very good-looking one at that! It co
The classical hand-wound Patek Philippe 5172G now with salmon pink dial
The classically styled Chronograph 5172G is one of the most beautiful chronograph watches from Patek Philippe, and perfectly showcases the Maison's capabilities in the field. It was presented in 2019 with a superb deep blue attire, but for Watches & Wonders 2022 Patek upped the ante once more with a luscious salmon-pink tone. Here's the Patek Philippe Chronograph 5172G.The hand-wound chronograph watch has always played a key role at Patek Philippe, and the 5172G is no exception to the rule. While the 5172G was a change from the classical Calatrava-style case of the 5170, it features the superb Art Deco style lugs from the 5320. This combination makes for one extremely attractive watch, especially in this salmon tone (a favourite among the MONOCHROME team). Another Letter From the Editor - Tell Us What YOU Want - Monochrome Watches
Last month I posted the first “Letter from the Editor” in the seven years of Monochrome and I gave you a sneak peek of what is to come and to tell you I would be off the air for a week to enjoy my honeymoon (thanks for all the kind messages!). Immediately after returning we successfully made the transition from monochrome-watches.com to monochrome-watches.com and today we’ve reached our thousandth posts. That’s a perfectly good reason to tell you more about what we’re going to do in the near future and to ASK YOU what you like to see/read more!Of course we will keep our focus on high-end watch, or Haute Horlogerie, made by BIG and famous watch brands and small independent artisan watchmakers. And in the process we will keep explaining and educating about the beauty of fine watchmaking.? Without these ingredients Monochrome wouldn’t be Monochrome. At the end of this “letter from the editor” you’ll find a form and I kindly ask you to
