Seamaster bullhead was canceled a long time ago, however, due to the long-standing requests Omega brought it back. The complicated looking dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass which solidifies the durability of the sturdy looking timepiece. Its bi-directional rotating inner bezel has a 12-hour scale. The striking piece has a black leather strap. This particular piece of beauty is one of a kind and available in limited edition.

SIHH 2019 - Ulysse Nardin Skeleton X (Hands-On, Specs & Price)
First introduced in 2016, the Executive Skeleton Tourbillon was an audacious combination of classic watchmaking codes with a hyper-modern, sporty and radically skeletonised dial. It also marked the brand's first attempt to position its products at more competitive prices and play to a younger, slightly hipper crowd. Priced at CHF 38,000 back in 2016, the good news for fans of the brand is that UN has taken the skeletonisation to even sportier terrain, jettisoned the tourbillon and contained the price to about a third of its predecessor – starting at USD 17,500. Meet the new Skeleton X with its highly contemporary aesthetics and openworked movement.Next generation material Carbonium GoldThe shape of the Skeleton X case has been totally revisited and downsized, abandoning the round 45mm case of its precursor to a more stylised, more elongated case shape with a 42mm diameter.? Presented in four satin-finished iterations ¨Ctitanium, titanium black DLC, rose gold, and Carbonium? Gold -
IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Edition Expedition Jacques-Yves Cousteau - REVIEW with exclusive photos, specs and price - Monochrome Watches
This year IWC introduced an entirely renewed Aquatimer collection. That literary means that ALL Aquatimer models have been redesigned and now feature the same design cues, and, more importantly, functional feats like the new Dive-Safe system; an externally operational internal dive-time bezel (still with us?) We tried the IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Edition ?Expedition Jacques-Yves Cousteau for some weeks for this review and liked it more and more during the test period. The IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Edition Expedition Jacques-Yves Cousteau (a mouthful) is a special edition, based on the Aquatimer Chronograph. It features a?recognizable blue dial that previous ?Expedition Jacques-Yves Cousteau also had. It commemorates Cousteau's fantastic voyages and films that made millions aware of the beauty of the underwater world. His movies educated people around the world, about the underwater world, in times that most people didn’t have a clue about what was going on under that blue surfac
COOL FINDS: 3 vintage chronographs from Airain, Longines and Universal Geneve - Monochrome Watches
Searching for vintage watches is both an exciting odyssey and a dangerous, risky path. We are pretty sure you’ve been in that situation, when?the enthusiasm?of finding the right timepiece is facing the question of authenticity and trust of sellers. As we love all watches here at Monochrome, we wanted to share with you our?interest for iconic, historical, important timepieces, sometimes far from?what you are used to see in famous auctions. Today, let’s?start with 3 vintage chronographs: a underrated aviator Type 20, a 1940s classical watch with a magnificent in-house caliber and a very rare 1970s Daytona’s competitor.Airain Type 20The Type 20 is not specific?to?Breguet. As we explained in extensive oversight of Type 20 chronograph, those watches were made after a special request of?the French Air-Force and ‘Type 20 / 21’ refers to the specifications, not the model itself. Several brands were selected to build?those chronographs: Breguet (definitely the most
Hands on: The Elegant & Pragmatic Certina DS Action Day-Date In Blue
The DS Action range is offered by Certina as “maritime timepieces” to be “your companion when exploring underwater depths“. However, the collection comprises many references that lack the looks commonly associated with diver’s watches, this new DS Action Day-Date included. We had our hands on the DS Action Day-Date in blue and can already tell you one thing; it is all good for the urban jungle and will not fail you should you end up in deep water. The Day-Date Powermatic 80 stands out as the most elegant watch in Certina’s DS Action collection. It effortlessly combines sporty and dressy styling elements. The stainless steel case, measuring 41mm in diameter and 11.96mm in height, offers a comfortable fit and is water-resistant up to 200m. The case features mostly brushed surfaces with a few polished accents on the bevelled lugs and case back. The bezel is slim, allowing for ample dial space beneath the sapphire crystal, creating an illusion of a larger
