Luxury Watches |
Omega watches have been known for their sleek and sophisticated look. This Omega watch features a 41 mm steel case, a black dial and Proprietary styled hands. On the dial, there is a transferred wave pattern; this pattern is inspired by the sidewalks of Copacabana beach. It has a unidirectional rotating bezel. On the back side of the case, you will find a "Rio 2016" Olympic Games logo along with the Limited Edition number engraved.

IWC Portofino Perpetual Calendar IW3444 (Price)
IWC Portofino watches are versatile and stylish, with a hint of timelessness. The Portofino collection (introduced in 1984) is supposedly the entry-level offering from IWC Schaffhausen, but despite the efforts seems to remain overlooked and even underrated by the public. No specific data supports this claim, but Internet searches reveal far fewer mentions of IWC Portofino than Portugieser or Pilot Collection watches. Even the IWC corporate Journal listing ten products that form the basis of its global success makes no room for a Portofino. Nevertheless, the collection offers elegance, discretion, various models, a good number of complications and plenty of details to capture your attention and even impress. The new IWC Portofino Perpetual Calendar IW3444 is bound to create a tourbillon of comments for several reasons. It is the smallest (40mm case diameter) perpetual calendar watch across the current IWC catalogue and will be available in steel. It is not the first Portofino with a per
Jay-Z Spotted Wearing Patek Grandmaster Chime at the 65th Grammys
Music legend, husband of another music legend and one of the most lucrative record producers of his generation, Shawn Carter, a.k.a Jay-Z, is known for his acquired taste in many things. Let’s start with cars and his unique Rolls Royce Boat Tail (equipped with a?bespoke Bovet 1822 watch). And because you’re reading MONOCHROME, he’s got some pretty fascinating watches too. His Daytona can be seen as almost entry-level, even if its an Everose gold model. Much more intriguing, he’s the owner of the one-and-only Perpetual Calendar known, a watch modified by Franck Muller. The man knows his watches. And to prove it, he was spotted wearing Patek Philippe’s most complex watch yesterday at the 65th Grammy Awards, the $2.2 million Grandmaster Chime 6300G. Although it’s not the first time he’s been spotted wearing this black dial model, all eyes were on his wrist.?Steve Stoute, Rich Paul, Jay-Z, Juan “OG” Perez and The-Dream attend the 65
Caviar Makes an Interesting Addition to your iPhone (Sort Of) - A Skeletonized Watch Movement on your Phone Case - Monochrome Watches
The Omega Point is a theory - not a retail location. It is succinctly postulated by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin by the notion that everything that rises must converge.? Those of us old enough to remember the way that mechanical watchmaking had to pull itself up out of the wreckage of the quartz-age are also well aware of how mechanical watchmaking has to fight for relevance on the manifold fronts presented by the digital age. In a time when you use a phone to take a picture, why not use a phone to tell time too? Now, we have connected watches that look like watches (sort of) but act like smartphones. Perhaps the currents lifting both the digital revolution and the mechanical revolution are putting them on a collision course? TAG Heuer produced a series of Android-based phones. Ulysse Nardin produced a phone powered by a mechanical oscillator. Why even Kari Voutilainen produced a series of dials (just dials mind you - not functioning watches) for some random Chinese smartphone maker (no,
Only Watch 2019 - Tudor Black Bay Ceramic One Unique Piece M7921
The Tudor Black Bay collection is a never-ending success. This model has already appeared in multiple materials – steel, PVD-coated steel, bronze, two-tone – without talking about the multiple designs, complications and size options. One concept that Tudor hasn’t explored yet is ceramic. Things are about to change, as for Only Watch 2019?the brand introduces the Tudor Black Bay Ceramic One, the first BB in this modern material. This new piece – keep calm, because at the moment it is a one-off prototype? – is the first of the Black Bays (and there are a lot already) to be designed in lightweight, scratch-resistant ceramic. Being a tool watch first and foremost, the Tudor Black Bay Ceramic One is presented in matte black ceramic, with a bead-blasted finish. The case retains the classic BB proportions, meaning a 41mm diameter. Ad - Scroll to continue with article
Oris Divers Sixty-Five Fratello Limited Edition
As you might have guessed from its name, the now very well-established?Oris Divers Sixty-Five was inspired by a watch created back in… 1965. A classic skin diver model, with recreational divers in mind, it has since its comeback been made in countless editions, colours and sizes. But there’s more than just the original (and rather quirky) model. Proof; the latest limited edition created by our friends of Fratello in collaboration with Oris. This time, they have looked back at a later edition from 1968, which might have quite some historical importance too… Meet the new Oris Divers Sixty-Five Fratello Limited Edition.Behind the successful Divers Sixty-Five collection is the resurrection of a specific model born in 1965, this dive watch with a compact case, slim profile and cool, original dial with trapezoidal markers. A watch that has been later derived in a multitude of editions, with larger or smaller cases, in steel, in bronze (or even in both), and importantly with
