The Speedmaster Racing watch is one of OMEGA's famous timepieces. The dial is black and is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It contains a 30-minute and 12-hour counter along with a seconds sub-dial and a date window. Also, there is a 'Clous de Paris' pattern textured on the sub-dials. The case of this model is stainless steel with a diameter of 40 mm on which the matte black bezel rests. The watch has a rubber strap with Speedmaster embossed on it.

A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Chronograph Black Dial (Specs & Price)
The 1815 Chronograph by A. Lange & Sohne might just be the best definition of a chronograph, in its purest form. While the icon remains the Datograph Up/Down, it features several additional complications, such as the?large date and the power reserve. The 1815 is as pure as you can imagine. Back in 2015, the German manufacture updated the model?slightly, with the addition (or the comeback) of a pulsometer scale on?the stunning boutique edition. It is this same edition that is today presented in a very Monochrome-style, with the?A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Chronograph Black Pulsometer Dial. For those of you who only have eyes for?the iconic Datograph, we must?inform?you that the?A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Chronograph is not a poor’s man substitute. Far, very far from that. In fact, it combines many great elements. Of course, before the 2015 boutique edition, we could have argued a bit about a certain?moroseness of the dial (the very first edition, launched in 2004, featured a pulso
SIHH 2019 - Santos de Cartier Large Model now with Gradient Blue Dial (Specs & Price)
The revamped Santos was the star of the SIHH 2018 for Cartier and for multiple reasons, it was a success. Well designed, well equipped, well executed and relatively fair when it comes to the price, Cartier gave this iconic shape a slightly sportier (or let’s say more modern) touch and some nice details, such as a clever strap/bracelet system. Just ahead of the SIHH 2019, this model appears in the collection with a new dial. White is too shy for you? The new gradient blue version might be the answer.Cartier introduced an entirely new collection at the SIHH 2018, based on the iconic Santos watch – a watch born in 1904 as the first true wristwatch on the market (not a converted pocket watch). Let’s be honest, when you have more than 100 years of history behind you, you can’t mess up with the codes. The new Santos did not undergo a radical design revolution but was given a thorough update, more in line with modern expectations. The case,?still square-shaped, with 8
Introducing the Montblanc Metamorphosis II - 2 Watches in 1 - Monochrome Watches
Four years ago Montblanc brought automaton-like functions to the wrist with the Metamorphosis, which was the world’s first wrist watch that comprised two different dials, and corresponding functions, in one wrist watch. To be clear, we’re talking mechanical watches here, no smart watches, no LCD screens. Upon pushing a minute-repeater-like slide, a genuine metamorphosis takes place, and changes the dial with time and date indications, to a dial with time and chronograph counter, that rises from underneath the other dial. How brilliant is that!Originally launched in 2010 – as the first of the Timewriter program – the Metamorphosis was developed in the Montblanc manufacture in Villeret – the former Minerva manufacture. The Timewriter program gave young watchmakers the chance to develop their (spectacular) ideas with the help and full support of Demetrio Cabiddu (the master watchmaker) and his team. Now for the upcoming Watches & Wonders Montblanc launche
Introducing The Cool Farer 36mm Three Hand Collection
It would be hard to categorise Farer as still part of the newcomers from the micro-brand scene. Established in 2015, the brand has made a name for itself and built a rather coherent collection comprising most of the “simple” complications – GMT, chrono, world time – with distinctive designs. A British brand, Farer is dedicated to originality combined with relatively classic codes and (mostly) Swiss mechanical movements – and fair prices. The latest collection is here to prove it again, and it’s not only a cool selection of designs but also a size that we enjoy. Meet the new Farer 36mm Three Hand Collection. What Farer is doing here is pretty simple: take four of its most successful designs from the classic Three Hand Collection and shrink the cases to produce a cool compact vibe. All four new models are based on existing watches that were previously available in 39mm cases – and still are. The base is simple, elegantly shaped and sleek. We’
Vacheron Constantin FIFTYSIX Tourbillon, Peripheral Automatic (Specs & Price)
At the SIHH 2018, Vacheron Constantin introduced a brand new and important collection for the brand, the FIFTYSIX. With a clear intention to renew the clientele and to bring younger and less hardcore-oriented potential customers, this watch mixed vintage elements with a modern, masculine and slightly casual design. Presented in 3 different version (automatic, day-date, complete calendar), each of them available in steel or gold, it’s time now for the FIFTYSIX?to up the game and to receive true Vacheron Constantin savoir-faire. This has just been done with the addition of a high-end, automatic peripheral tourbillon movement.?Background – the?FIFTYSIX?collectionIn our review of the complete calendar version, we explained why we had been sceptical about this new collection. It was more an issue of “wrong first impressions” based on 3D renderings of the watch and a slightly “hipster” communication campaign, rather than an issue with the watch itself. Cer
